Chapter 5: Three Jangs

[mitsuki]: JANG KEUN SUK official (_asia_prince_jks) started following you.

"Oppaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" Belle screamed, her eyes as wide as a saucer.

She felt her heart jumped out of her chest when the notification appeared on her screen. Keun Suk Oppa had just followed Mituski's SNS account.

"Oppaaaa," she found herself running to the kitchen where Keun Suk Oppa went into earlier and there he was grinning behind the counter, his phone on his hands. "What did you do? Unfollow me right now," she told him. She looked aghast and her face white ashen with shock.

But Keun Suk Oppa run away from her. He took the connecting door from the back kitchen to the hallway. Belle stood there still couldn't believe what just happened then when she realized Keun Suk Oppa was gone, she went and chased after the run away Prince.

Keun Suk Oppa was laughing so hard. Belle on the other hand was just so worried and afraid. Her heart was pounding in her chest. What would be the fans reaction if they saw him follow her account. Thinking of a lot of worse scenarios in her head, she pursued him until she finally caught him.

Belle begged till naughty Keun Suk Oppa agreed to unfollow her account, in exchange for a wish she had to grant him.

Late in the afternoon, Belle and Keun Suk Oppa, went for a drive and ended up watching the sunset at Seonnyeo Rock Beach. The tide hasn't risen yet and they just enjoyed walking around while holding each other's hand. It was really beautiful. It was first sunset they have seen. The rocks even has its own charm. She was so happy.

However, while the two were enjoying the sunset, little did they know that fans started wondering about what Keun Suk Oppa had done earlier that afternoon.

Eels started to wonder why in the world did Keun Suk Oppa followed a Filipina writer when he doesn't even know how to speak Filipino language. All eels, homebase and abroad, including Filipino eels, finds his action questionable. Some even started their own investigation about the writer, even if Keun Suk Oppa in the end unfollowed her account.

Thankfully it didn't became a big issue, however the news still reached Mr and Mrs Jang's attention.

"Mom it was really nothing. It was a small mistake. I was browsing my phone, suddenly it appeared and then I clicked it accidentally," he told his Mom.

Belle felt Keun Suk Oppa squeezed her hand under the table. She looked at him, trying not to laugh at his boyish look as he tell his mom a made up story.

After watching the sunset, they went to finally meet his parents. Belle was so nervous, she thought she was going to be really grilled. Even with Keun Suk Oppa constantly reminding her that everything is going to be alright she just couldn't calm down.

Somehow, relief flooded her when Mr and Mrs Jang welcomed them with a smile. Even Sunni was excited to meet them. The moment Keun Suk Oppa went out of his car, she was already wagging her tail. She was thankful that Sunni was nice to her as well, must be because she was really fond of dogs from the start. Back when she was young, her family owned a dog, but after it died from old age, she got so sad and decided not to take care of one again.

"Still you should be careful. Look the fans was in an uproar," said Mrs Jang. She was a small woman, a little shorter than Belle. She had a very beautiful face and it looked even smaller against her naturally perm hair, though it looked good on her. She looked a little strict and the first time she saw her, Belle swore she could feel her knees shaking. But when she smiled she looked like an angel.

Mr Jang on the other hand has a very handsome face. The kind of face that would make you think that he is a very trustworthy and a man who wont do anything bad. But Belle felt there was something to Mr Jang and she was right, for serious and quiet as he may look like, it seems like Keun Suk Oppa took his mischevious personality from his father. The exchange of secret knowing glances from both father and son makes her smile and it definitely calmed her nerves.

Keun Suk Oppa's parents asked her about alot of things. She thought they are going to grill her about the time a year ago when she left and hurt Keun Suk Oppa but it seemed like it was a taboo subject and nobody even mentioned it.

His parents seemed to be rather interested about her being a young entrepreneur. Thinking about it, they were on the same line of business, since they both own a café, though they had a wide variety of businesses.

Keun Suk Oppa also highlighted the fact that they will be opening their own diner soon just a year after the cafe opened. It made his parents overwhlemed with their success in bussiness.

Somehow Belle was able to survive dinner. Thanks to Keun Suk Oppa for managing well the flow of conversations. His parents were really nice and not to mention the food was exceptional. Mrs Jang was a very nice cook and Keun Suk Oppa must have taken that talent from her as well.

As Belle spend time with Mr and Mrs Jang, she felt so proud and happy how wonderful Keun Suk Oppa's parents are. She could feel how much they love and are proud of Oppa. She realize that Keun Suk Oppa really is a mix between his parents. From his looks, to his personality, even to talents and traits, he took from both his parents.

She could only look at Keun Suk Oppa as they drive back to his house.

"Why? What is it?" Keun Suk Oppa asked when he caught her staring at him.

"Nothing," she lied and looked outside the window.

A smirk appeared on his lips. "What is it? I know there is something."

"Nothing really. I was just thinking how lucky you are to have wonderful parents Oppa. But ofcourse they are lucky to have you as well. So lucky..." she smiled at him.

"Ofcourse. They couldn't ask for a much better son," he said proudly and it made her chuckle.

"But I was sure you gave them headaches too. From mild to severe..." her brows were moving up and down, teasing him.

"What are you saying? You want to be punished?" he threatened but can't do anything since he was driving. Belle found herself laughing so hard. "By the way, what did Dad and you talked about earlier?" he asked.

"He just talked about the little naughty boy named Keun Suk," she said and saw Keun Suk Oppa's upper lip raised a little bit, "but don't worry, he assured me that that little boy grew up into a fine man, also a responsible and loving person," she continued.

Keun Suk Oppa smiled and reached to hold her hand, squeezed it and brought it to his lips to kiss it.

"Thank you for meeting my parents," he said.

"I swear I thought I was going to pass out from so much nervousness earlier."

"I know. You look so pale as if all your blood has been sucked out of you. Ha ha ha," he looked and laughed at her.

"Laugh all you want Oppa. But by the way, I thought your Mom doesn't like me?" she can't help but ask. She was really afraid of Mrs Jang must be because as a woman, she can feel how much she loves Keun Suk Oppa and would do anything to protect him especially from people like her who have hurt him. Though she didn't show her anything bad, she really felt nervous around her. Must be her guilt acting up on her.

"What are you saying? Ofcourse not. She likes you. Didn't you see how proud she was of your achievements."

"Well that was on business side. But its not like she wanted to get to know me personally," she replied.

"Don't say that. Give Mom some time. You know how mothers are. They are naturally protective of their kids. Ofcourse she knew our history, she even knew of your condition but I am sure she'll like you, just give her time to absorb everything. Oh but I think she is just a little bit shock when I told her I wanted to get married already."

"What? What did you say?"

Keun Suk Oppa burst out laughing while Belle was left staring at him, disbelief was in her face. Apart of her heart felt elated after hearing that he thought of marrying her and even told his parents about it, but somehow a part of her heart was worried and afraid. Just what if both of them are not yet ready for that, especially when they are basically just starting up and there are still unresolved issues of their past.

But Belle didn't voice out what she was feeling that moment. She just looked at the happy man infront of her and decided to be happy as well.

I am not worthy... but I promise to love and protect him with everything I got, a smile just appeared on her lips as she remember the promise she made to Mr Jang.
