Keun Suk can't focus on the road. He kept on glancing at Belle who was very busy scanning her phone over the pictures they took in Furano.
A little earlier they made a side trip to Furano and he brought her to some of the taping sites of one of his drama. He really wanted to show her the diamond snow at the farm but unfortunately, they weren't lucky to catch it. They however took a lot of pictures and she even bought lavender tea for souvenir. But the snow mobile ride seemed to be the activity she enjoyed the most.
That day, Belle seemed to be having a lot of fun. She looked different. She is smiling a lot more and the heavy atmosphere they had the other night seemed to have vanished. She looked more beautiful and happier and he liked it.
Half way through Hakodate, Belle kept on saying she wanted to see Lake Toya so they ended up having a quick stop at Silo Observatory.
The view atop was superb. Keun Suk had seen it before but looking at Belle, it felt like he was seeing the whole thing in a new perspective. They were both speechless.
Their early lunch was exceptional too. The food tasted a lot better because of the beautiful view they have of the lake. And after filling up their stomachs, he took her to a much better spot to view the whole lake and the volcano. He can't help but smile at himself after seeing her reaction. He was expecting it but seeing her amazed still is a sight to behold.
"Oppa, what are you doing?" Belle asked when he suddenly hugged her from behind.
"Nothing. I am just enjoying the scenery," he reasoned and held her even tighter. He could feel her giggling in his arms.
"And? How was the scenery so far?"
"Breathtaking... the best ever, " he kissed the top of her head.
"Do you really have to be this close Oppa?" she whispered and when a group of tourist suddenly arrived, she put on her hood immediately.
"Shh... " he wore his hood as well then turned Belle around.
Belle looked at him, surprise in her eyes. With a naughty grin on his face, he launch a surprise attack on her and stole a kiss. She hid her blushing face in her hands and looked away from him and from the tourists. She looks so cute that moment it makes him want to tease her more.
"Why are you hiding? Are you ashamed of me?" He continued teasing her. "Well even if you are, me, I am not. I could even shout it to the world. Like right now," he took a deep breath and threatened to scream.
Belle faced him, her eyes wide as she covered his lips with her hands. Her looks were taunting him. He found himself laughing hard at her expression then Belle started chuckling as well.
"I've never seen the sky as beautiful as this. Must be because you're here, your presence makes everything perfect," he said.
"You're wrong Oppa. Its beautiful because of you. Always have been and always will be. The sky is the best connection I have with you. I look at it and remember you... and I smile whenever I think of you. Therefore whether it rains or shine, clouded or clear, it will always be beautiful in my eyes."
He smiled at what she said. He was thinking the same as Belle. Soon they will be far away from each other, it really saddens his heart but the thought that they are just under the same sky somehow comforts him. He will never be truly separated from her, not anymore, not now that he had found her.
Finally, after long hours of travel they reached Hakodate.
A little bit more and Belle was about to get sick. She kept on complaining, saying her head was feeling lighter. Thankfully the side trips they had on the way help her get fresh air and rest from the travel every now and then.
