"What did you say?"
Belle was arranging the white roses in a vase when she suddenly she heard Abby spoke. She peered over her shoulder to look at her who was busily writing on the board for the special menus of the day.
"Sabi ko, may nagrent ng rooftop for a special dinner date mamaya (I said, someone rented the rooftop for a special dinner date later)," she said rolling her eyes.
"Who? Why? I mean, you know we already have our hands full for the opening of the diner, why accept a special reservation... at sa rooftop pa (and its at the rooftop)," she said returning her gaze on the flowers.
"Relax. Its not like its you who will do the preparation. The man wanted to surprise his girlfriend and since the place is special for them, he wanted to celebrate their first Valentines here. The guy is rich, even wanted to rent the entire garden but since its impossible because of the opening, he opted for the rooftop. They will do the preparation later, all we have to do is rent them the space and the food. It's a nice deal right?"
She thought about it.
"Well I guess you're right. Would be a nice opportunity to market our place and you think we could snap some pictures of their special date and you know post it in our SNS?" she asked her, her eyes shining with excitement.
"You sound excited there ah," she said with amusement in her voice. "Don't know. I'll ask Tanya. She seems to be talking to the guest a lot because of the food choices that he wanted to be prepared for tonight. If it's the venue, there is a fat chance, I am just not sure about the couple. They seem to be very private people."
That was what Abby said earlier and Belle didn't manage to catch the hint of excitement in her eyes.
Belle could feel her heart pounding in her chest. Her head keeps telling her its impossible but her heart is telling her otherwise. When she reached the landing, she just couldn't believe her eyes. It looked more romantic upstairs than it was downstairs. She hardly recognize their roof top.
A trail of red roses carpeted the floor and the potted plants were dressed with fairy lights and pictures after pictures hang on a thin line as if they were floating in mid air. At the far corner sit a little tent and a blanket with cute little pillows with Keun Suk oppa's face on it. Not just that, for the owner of those handsome faces stood there at the foot of the blanket looking like a real Prince waiting patiently for his princess. She chuckled and hid her face at the beautiful sight infront of her. She couldn't contain the happiness she was feeling and her blushing face was telling it all.
Unable to suppress herself, she skipped towards him and threw herself to hug him but after realizing what she did, withdraw abruptly and hid from the red roses in her hands.
"Are you that happy to see me?" he teased her. She could hear his chuckles.
"O-ofcourse not," she lied.
"Really?" he said pushing her hand to the side, showing him her blushing face that is as red as the roses in her hands. He smiled lovingly at her and said 'I love you' then kissed her.
And just like the very first time he kissed her, Belle could feel her heart beating so fast in her chest, she felt like fireworks were exploding in her head.
"I missed you," the words that managed to escape from her lips.
"I think you really did miss me... so much," he said and he still have that naughty grin on his face before he pulled her towards him, closing their distance and planting a kiss on top of her head. It just felt so nice. "Happy Valentine's my dear Belle," and handed her a bouquet of white roses, her favorite.
