Chapter 28: Alone and Free

In that dimly lamp lit room, next to the window wall where nothing but empty sky and dark clouds could be seen, was Belle sitting in the corner, hugging her legs tight that night. Alone in that room, filled with an eerie silence, she comforted herself with the cold and peace she found even when inside her heart was a storm waging turmoil and threatening to burst out. When she couldn't help it anymore, tears just started to fall from her eyes and her kept wails turned into sobs and that night, she just cried to her hearts content.

All the pain she kept in her heart, came out... all her regrets, all her inhibitions, her incapacity to protect the people she love and her inability to speak up and stand up for her herself, hurts her. It's breaking her heart so much.

All her emotions, she let it out that night, crying, screaming in an empty room where no one will hear her. That time, she was free, no one to see her, no one to tell her who she is, what she is or no one to criticize her... she was free to be weak and show herself that is okay to be weak. That time, she can be herself and cry till she had no more tears to cry. That night, she was free from the shackles bounding her, imprisoning her from the rigid and cruel eyes of people, free from the noise numbing her ears telling her who she has to be and who she isn't. That one night, in spite the tears and the breaking of her heart... in that cold room where she was alone and agonizing... that night... she was free.

It was morning when Jang keun Suk's name appeared on every tv stations, internet sites, local and international- headlines after headlines and articles after articles... but its not just him, it includes Belle and another new comer caught up in the heat of the issue... a Filipina writer, Mitsuki.

Last night, news about the couple, Jang Keun Suk and Belle, suddenly leaving the Jang's residence and transferring into a hotel made fans and bashers think that the couple are having disagreements that they don't want the family to know about. Then Keun Suk coming home to his own house and leaving his girlfriend in the hotel alone fueled more rumors saying that the relationship might be really on the rocks.

However, early this morning just when everybody thought that news about a break up would fill the internet and news stations, a more shocking news filled the morning headlines. The tide has miraculously been turned... and its all because of a single person... famous Filipina writer, Mitsuki.

Past midnight, Belle, who was lost and don't know what to do and feel anymore, opened Mitsuki's account and suddenly poured her heart out.

Picture: one of the photos that leaked a few weeks ago, where Belle and Keun Suk are looking lovingly at each other. She said:

What is love? Truthfully? It doesn't have a concrete meaning because it was never meant to be defined... it was meant to be felt. No one knows how to define it, only those who have felt it knows what it is. Only those who fought for it, wins it... only those who looses it learns its value.

It's been some time since news of Keun chan being in relationship has spread in the internet. It left a million hearts broken, being a fan, I know exactly how everyone felt, but I wonder, is falling in love a mistake? Is it a sin? Is it a crime? Did I fall in love to just get my heart broken? That's everyone's question. That would also be my question.

However my thoughts told me otherwise...

No. We all fall in love for reasons we cannot comprehend. I cannot pretend to be okay... but I cannot pretend to deny the person I love the right to be happy. If I have to break my heart a million times to see him happy, I'll gladly do, for that's the kind of love I have for him... selfless... enduring... and true.

The post left Mitsuki's followers in utter surprise. For days, they have been waiting for whatever the writer will say about the issue especially when she is such a big fan of Jang Keun Suk and now that she had finally broken her silence, they were left in awe and dumbstruck. There are some who started questioning her belief, especially when they seemed to have been following the stories and every rumors that are coming out about Keun Suk and his girlfriend. Some seemed to start to dislike Keun Suk for being selfish and blatantly incompassionate with his fans and his being insensible to their cries, while some who believed the rumors that came out hated Belle for being a user and a gold digger.
