Belle felt so lost. Nothing was going inside her mind. She couldn't even feel anything. She just continued crying but she didn't know why she was crying anyway. She continued staring at that empty room as if something amazing would just pop out of nowhere.Even as the room grew darker she couldn't even move. Her tears has now dried, but she hasn't even moved, not even an inch. Every now and then she will just find her tears falling from her eyes for no reason.
Later in the afternoon, Kurt suddenly came to see Belle and he found her in that state... lost.
"How are you?" he asked though he wasn't sure if she will show him any sign of life at all but she suddenly looked at him, her eyes fixed on his as if finding out in her head who he was and what are the meaning of the words he just uttered. "It feels like it been along time since we had a conversation like this," he chuckled nervously.
"I'm not sure what to say Kurt oppa."
"Want to go on a drive? To take your head off things?" he asked her.
Kurt sneaked Belle out of the hotel and luckily nobody noticed them. He took her to see the ocean for that's the only word she pronounced when he asked what she wanted to do, 'sea' she said and it felt like she maybe needing some space to breathe, not just the four corners of her hotel room that seems to be caging her in more.
However all through out the travel Belle never said another word. She was so quiet as if she was physically present but her heart and mind was somewhere nobody knows where. Earlier, after the sudden revelation for Keun Suk's enlistment shocked Belle, he together with Mr and Mrs Jang left them two alone to sort and talk things out however after an hour Keun Suk suddenly arrived in his studio looking like the world has ended. He wasn't crying but his eyes were red and his face told him that whatever happened inside that room didn't work out. He looked worse more than ever, just like how he looked when he saw him at Narita airport that night when Belle left him for the first time, he looked like a torn man.
They arrived at the ocean a few minutes ago, yet Belle still hadn't said a word. She just sat there on stone wall looking as far as she could as if she could see something he couldn't in that dark waters. There was no star that night nor the moon seems to be hiding somewhere, it was like the sky was also describing the feeling she was feeling that moment. Empty.
He decided to sit next to her. Her silence is becoming more eerie and its getting him even more worried.
"Were you surprised? I'm sure Keun Suk never meant to hide it from you..." he said breaking the silence.
"I know..." she answered after awhile and then suddenly tears just fell from her eyes.
Kurt know now how much Keun Suk must have felt. It was really so painful to see her that way. There was nothing in her eyes, it was just an empty brown sphere but the glow that was living in there was gone, it was like the Belle they had known was gone was replaced by an empty Belle and it more painful more than anything else.
"Belle..."
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath yet even with her eyes closed tears continued on pouring out, it was really so painful even for him. He felt like he could give anything in the world to erase the pain she was feeling.
"I'm fine... I'm... fine..." she told herself however the words she said was more painful, if only she'd just let out her real feelings to release her pain than keeping them all in.
"I'll lend you my shoulder if you want..." he said and for the first time that evening, Belle looked at him and smiled, the loneliest smile he had ever seen.
"Oppa... thank you. I want you to know how thankful I am to have you..."
"I'm always here," he told her.
