The Sky and You

Chapter 9: The First Man

The fact that Kurt was waiting for him sitting prettily on his living room, told him that he purposely waited to catch him but it does not deter the happiness he was feeling that moment.

Keun Suk felt like he was walking on the clouds.

Kurt's gaze followed him when he crossed the room and went into the washroom to clean up and change. When he came out Kurt was then pretending to be doing something on his computer so he dived into his bed.

Kurt broke the silence, "You seemed out of sight these days, something up?" he asked.

"I'll bet anything the girls got you," he snickered.

"Well its not a lie to say something is up to you... you seem to have changed," he said looking at him as if he has grown two heads. "Wanna share something?"

"Like?"

"Your activities this past few days?" He suggested.

Kurt is not the type to pry over his life but if he has decided to ask, it could only mean he has been acting really weird for him to get curious about it.

"Don't tell me your dating someone?" he continued. "But you haven't been anywhere except the places we went to and- oh no," he looked shocked for a while. "No," he discarded the thought, "Impossible. Those girls are fans. Wait, what's the name of the other girl again? Oh yeah, Belle. Sure she's beautiful but she's still so young."

He couldn't help his grin over his troubled expression. Kurt was even more surprised to catch him grinning.

"You!" he shouted, pointing finger at him. "You can't. Pedophile," he said and Keun Suk burst out laughing.

He threw him a pillow, "Shut up and for your info she's 25," he said in between laughs.

Kurt got up and threw back the pillow in his face. He took it and covered himself with the sheet. He doesn't want to say anything to anyone yet. The moment was still overwhelming to him and he wants everything to sink in first before he went blabbing to his friends. He shoo Kurt out of the room and when he was out, he took his phone out immediately.

He couldn't control his smile as he sent his message to Belle.

Earlier at the ski resort, Belle finally agreed to go out with him. He was so happy he couldn't believe it. He couldn't control his emotions as he screamed his lungs out, carried and spun her around. It was so unbelievable, he thought he misheard it when she said yes but when he looked in her eyes it just confirmed what he had heard. His heart was literally bouncing, he was like a young boy who just experienced love for the first time.

Keun Suk knew Belle still has her inhibitions but he was willing to do anything to earn her trust and to close that gap they have in between. And that night he promised to make her the happiest woman in the whole world.

Before they separate, he was able to kiss her though it was just on the cheeks. Belle still isn't used to it and he doesn't want to make it even more awkward for her.

When he received a reply from her, he felt his heart skipped a beat. He was grinning from ear to ear and he wondered if he will be able to get some sleep that night.

Tanya woke Belle up early the next morning so they can have breakfast together. She seemed to have the tact not to ask her about what happened the other night but Abby on the other hand, doesn't.

"You went out with Oppa last night?" she asked while rummaging her bags for her make up kit, not even looking at Belle

She took a bite of her toast before she answered. She has expected Abby to be tactless as always. "Yeah. Oppa suddenly wanted to ski last night."
