Chapter 2: The Hardest Part

"Annyeong Oppa," greeted Belle when she came live on video call with Keun suk Oppa.

The past few days they have been apart felt like forever for Belle. She had been so busy and if she could stretch the days and hours she would, for 24 hours isn't enough for her anymore. Yes she do miss Keun Suk Oppa and would like to see him but she had so much catching up to do.

When they came back from Japan, she asked her things back from her friends, all her collections to her diaries. Everything. And surprise was an understatement, she was shocked. She was one crazy Eel.

She spent her time working in the café, writing on her novel but most of her time, which was supposed to be dedicated for sleeping was used for reading her diaries, her SNS accounts where she posted and send messages to Keun Suk Oppa, her old magazines and even watching his shows and dramas. She felt ashamed but most part of her was so proud of her old self. She was so much dedicated to him and her diary says it all.

Unfortunately...

"What happened to your eyes? Those eyebags.... ha ha ha" Keun Suk Oppa started laughing at her on the other side of the line. He was laughing so hard it made her pout.

Belle stood up and when she came back she was wearing shades to hide her dark circles. Keun Suk Oppa burst out laughing again.

"What are you doing? Take it off, I want to see your eyes," he said but Belle didn't heed his words.

"No can do," she said not even looking at him. She continued drinking her coffee not minding him.

"What have you been doing anyway for you to have those bags?" he inquired. This time he was trying his best to hide his grin.

"I've been catching up on my eel life," she stated.

"What?"

"When we came back, my friends returned my things, mostly my collections of you," she said, then turned her mug the other side, letting him see the face printed on the mug, his face and she smiled, "See that? This is one of my collections then I got my diaries as well, all my magazines, dvd's and everything, mostly... some videos I saved on my laptop, they however erased them all, not even bothering to back it up," she said giving a deep sigh of disappointment.

Keun Suk was so astonished he couldn't even speak. He just stared at Belle still amazed at her.

"Why would you do that?" he asked.

"Why not? I don't have any memory of you yet here I am in love with you, isn't it right for me to get to know you first... which thinking about it, I think I got the whole process wrong cause I ended up falling in love with you first without even knowing you... so I really need to catch up, you know..."

"You can just ask me anything you want to know,"

"But I learned about you even before I met you, so I want to know who was the Belle who fell in love with you before, what were her thoughts of you? why did she fell for you in the first place? I want to know my feelings before,"

"And?"

"It was overwhelming. I started reading one dairy, then I ended up reading 3 years worth of my eel life in two days," she said looking proud with herself.

"You know Belle, learning about your past is alright but you don't want to over exert yourself. Look at you, I think you hardly had enough sleep, do you want to get sick? The weather here in Korea is so cold, if you come here with your condition now, I believe you will really get sick," he said, their was a hint of worry in his voice and it somewhat made her smile.
