Chapter 12: When Heart Stops Beating

Keun Suk woke up with the warmth of the sun filling in the room. He immediately realized the center table infront of him and realized how he must have fallen asleep on Belle's lap earlier.

He reached for his phone on top of the table and saw Manager Gun's messages informing him of the flight details. Unlike the usual airport appearances that he always do before he leaves for Japan for every concert, this time they didn't inform any fans or the media of their flight. For once he wanted to be alittle bit more selfish and spent more time with Belle so he thought of away so he will be able to fly together with her.

So as not to draw attention, they will all be flying separately. The other staff have already flown earlier that day including Kurt and Han Sung. Manager Gun and his parents will be joining them as well for the final stage and their flight will be tomorrow morning. He on the other hand, will be flying to Japan with Belle that afternoon.

Slowly, he got up and the comforter fell. He smiled as he sat on the carpet but his heart almost jumped out when out of the corner of his eyes he saw a sleeping figure behind him. He turned and saw it was Belle. His smiled even grew wider.

With his arm on his chin, he lost himself into staring at her beautiful sleeping face. She looked so peaceful. How he had the urge to sleep beside her and hug her.

Last night or earlier this morning, he was really so happy. Though he really regret that he made her wait and more so that they weren't able to enjoy the surprise she prepared for him, in his heart he was really overjoyed.

The moment he entered the house he could already smell the sweet smell of butter and was so surprised to see the kitchen table set up for a romantic dinner with fresh white roses and his favorite scented candles all nicely arranged and ready to be lighted. He felt his heart expanded a thousand times. He wants to run to her and spin her around but his heart sank when he saw her sleeping infront of her laptop with his drama on play.

He really wanted to regret not being abe to come home early to be with her. The rehearsal for the concert took too long, though he was partly to blame because he indeed couldn't focus. He kept on thinking how he wanted to go with Belle to Nami Island and he was hoping she won't be sad. However like him, turns out she was sad as well.

He decided to take advantage of the chance that Belle is asleep and took a lot of pictures of her and selca too. After, he decided to take a bath and reheat the food she prepared for him. He was just so happy that morning.

When Belle woke up, they enjoyed the food together. They even closed all the blinds to make the room dark and they lighted all the candles making it like a romantic brunch. He loved the food, it was so delicious for her first try and from that day on, adobo and buttered shrimp became one of his favorites.

After brunch, Belle started packing her things and his mood changed immediately. Looking at her pack is a little bit depressing but atleast he knew that its only temporary, after all Belle seems to be apart of his house already and of his life.

Around 2, together with his two SG and manager Young Deok they made there way to the airport.

Belle went out of the café with two cups of coffee on one hand while the other was holding her phone on her ear. Her friends suddenly called her, asking if she's on the way to the airport and ofcourse, they were on for some juicy news from her.

She stopped on the sidewalk while waiting for the stoplight to turn green like other pedestrians.

Suddenly her eyes darted on the other side of the road where Keun Suk Oppa was waiting for her. She smiled widely when she saw him waved at her. She wanted to cross the street immediately and be next to him again.
