On the way to the campsite, Keun Suk Oppa won't stop asking her what she and his Mom talked in private. He didn't stop her until they arrived at the camping grounds but Belle didn't say anything.
Belle was speechless for the lack of words to say. Everything around her was snow. Bare trees and cold white snow everywhere. They were up the mountain and from their site, she can see a picture perfect beautiful blue sky, the breathtaking view below and the white little mountains her eyes could reach but even if it was picture perfect, she was dying. Literally.
It's so coooollllddd.
The blowing wind was killing her. She wanted to really regret now having told Keun Suk Oppa that camping in winter was okay with her. She was literally freezing despite the multiple layers of clothes she was wearing, from thick coats, muffler, socks and gloves. Every time the wind would blow on her face it felt like every cells in her face turns to ice, its so stiff. She coudn't do anything other than grit her teeth.
Keun Suk Oppa was laughing at her expression while he was putting up their tent. She was surprised to see that everything they needed was there, from heater, to cooking pans, even coolers with meat and foods. All they needed to do was to put up the tent which they were able to do with the help of some staff from the camp site.
Thought she had no idea how or what to do, she decided to start making fire. She took some coal and put it in the griller and found some lighter and paper and viola, a fire. She couldn't just let herself freeze right there and then. Thank goodness that it didn't snow that day, however, the blazing heat that afternoon wasn't enough to melt all the snow. However she was atleast thankful she won't be literally sleeping in snow that night, for the tent was atop a wood deck.
She looked around and realized they weren't the only crazy ones who wanted to try winter camping for a hundred meters away from them, another couple seem to be setting their own tent as well. A few feet below them a group of friends seems to be enjoying themselves. The girls have started their cooking while the men set up their tents.
Once their tent that seemed to fit 5 people or more was set up, Keun Suk Oppa started cooking for their dinner as well. She helped with making fire, fanning it, keeping it alive, and anything that involves being near the heat of the fire. Keun Suk Oppa started making barbeque and she tasked herself with overseeing it. She won't literally go away from the fire. It doesn't matter if she smelt like smoke and barbeque.
Keun Suk Oppa made hot pot and Belle was just so thankful that he was an expert camper and an excellent cook. She swore if she was alone, she would have died. Keun suk Oppa was just laughing at her.
After dinner, they just lay there next to each other. The stove continued burning and two heaters were behind them. They did nothing but just look at the stars in the heavens.
That night the moon and the star was 4 fingers away from each other but with Keun Suk Oppa's hands its was 3 fingers. While trying to reach and measure their distance from each other, they ended up comparing their hands, her small and delicate hands against his big, capable hands. Then he held it against his heart and never let it go. His touch was so warm and she liked it so much.
"I thought you're going to back out and drag me back down the mountain," he said chuckling while looking at her.
"I was almost about to do that, ha ha ha, but you were doing your best putting up that tent and I thought I couldn't dare waste your effort... and you seem very excited about this."
"You know I don't like the cold too, but anywhere is fine with me as long as you are with me. I never tried winter camping before and it sounds fun and I can be with you too, so that made me so excited."
