Chapter 33: This is Me

Belle suddenly leaving the agency during an interview was on the news. The agency said that it was because she wasn't feeling well but the rumors didn't stop because of that. Back at the hotel, Belle felt lighter being with her friends, she felt calmer and felt a little bit better.

"You should come home now... its enough," Abby told her, she was making a serious face and it felt like the first time to see her that. They argue more often than Tanya but never had she seen her that serious.

"Do not hurt yourself anymore. Let's go home, Belle," seconded Tanya, she was much calmer than Abby, though her face tells her how worried she was as well.

"I hope it's as easy as that..."

"It is. You don't have to worry about anything anymore." Abby sat next to her and held her hand.

"You don't understand anything."

"We do," Ab suddenly stood up and shrieked, "we do, even if you don't say anything, we do know..." she said looking mad.

"Yes, Belle. You're trying to shoulder everything on your own. If it hurts, cry, we'll be here for you. If your tired, rest, we'll do the rest for you. You don't have to do everything on your own," said Tanya who hugged her and then Abby hugged them both. Suddenly her heart was so overwhelmed with grief she couldn't help but cry once again.

"Akala ko kaya ko. Akala ko dahil kay Mitsuki may masasabi na akong narating, na may maipagmamalaki na ko. Na kahit papaanu ay may karapatan na akong hawakan ang mga kamay niya. Akala ko malakas na ako, na kakayanin ko nang ipaglaban ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya, pero bakit ganun? Mahina parin pala ako? ( I thought I can do it. I thought that because of Mitsuki I have already achieved something, that I have something to be proud of. That I finally have the right to hold his hand. I thought I was strong enough to fight for my love for him, but why? Why am I still weak?)" she said in between her sobs.

"Huwag mong sabihin yan... (Don't say that...)" said Tanya.

"Ang sakit... sobrang sakit. Bakit ko pa siya kailangang makilalang muli kung masasaktan lang ako ulit at sasaktan ko lang din pala siyang muli? Bakit ganun? Bakit ang sakit na mahalin siya? (It hurts... it hurts a lot. Why do I have to meet him again if I will have to get hurt and I will just hurt him again? Why? Why does it hurt so much to love him?)" she continued her painful wails.

"You have endured so much. I couldn't imagine how painful it was. But we are here. We promised to never leave each other right?" Abby continued to tell her.

And Belle just cried and cried till she couldn't cry anymore. That night she had made her decision. She's going back to the Philippines.

The next day, together with her friends, Belle returned to the agency. They resumed the interview but she requested to allow only a few people inside the room and so with Keun Suk Oppa, Abby, Tanya, Kurt, a single camera man and the interviewer, they pursued with the interview.

"You must have been surprised about everything. How are you feeling?" the female interviewer asked.

"I feel stressed for the lack of the right description to it..." she said chuckling then pouted, "sorry..."

"It's alright. We aren't surprised, after everything you have to go through, we will be more surprised if you aren't. People are really amazed on how you have come out after all the controversies that have happened - one after another, it even became an international issue and people all over the world are following your story. What do you have to say about it?"

Belle bit her lips and forced a n awkward smile then looked at Keun Suk Oppa and her friends and heaved a sigh.

"I feel blessed - truly blessed. I'm the kind of person that when I face problems I would often just face it alone. I've always been very dependent on myself and since I don't have a large circle of friends, I always try to be strong for them but when Keun Suk Oppa came introduced me to his friends that circle just suddenly expanded and its overwhelming. I feel blessed because I realized that in times of trials and hardships its when you will find true strength from family and friends who are there to always support you... and I'm lucky to have them."
