Chapter 13: Terrified

Belle heaved a sigh then looked at him. "Why?" she asked.

"Did your memories return?" Keun Suk managed to ask, the looks in his eyes begging her. "Please tell me the truth."

She was taken aback for a second then smiled sadly, "Is that why you won't leave?" He only stared at her but didn't give her any confirmation. "No. Earlier when I saw that car coming, I was so afraid. It felt like my life was ending that very moment, right before my eyes. My mind went all blank and my body numb. I couldn't move, I was frozen in fear.

"Before I pass out, I thought I saw myself lying there on the ground bleeding to death," she continued with tears falling in her eyes as she remembered everything that happened. "I was reaching for my phone. Even though the screen has cracked I could still see your face then. I was crying so hard. It was so painful but even with all the blood in my hands all I thought of was to reach you, to reach my phone.

"If your asking if I remember something then yes. I did remember that day I met that accident. It was terrifying. I don't want to even remember that again."

She was sobbing so hard and all he could do was hug her so tight.

"I'm sorry. You're fine now."

"I'm sorry Oppa if I still cant remember some of my memories," she sobbed.

"Its okay. You don't have to force yourself."

"I know you're worrying about me but you should go Oppa," she insisted but if she was stubborn, he was stubborn as well. He continued shaking his head till she suddenly climb off her bed.

"What are you doing?"

"You won't leave without me right? Then lets go."

"No, the doctor said you have to rest and we are doing exactly that."

"I'm going to be fine. I am not feeling anything anyway. Besides its just an hour flight to Japan. I'll be sitting on the plane and then rest in the hotel after. Lets go, I'm serious."

That's what she said and before he knew it, with Mr and Mrs Jang, his managers and PSG, they made their way to the airport.

However another unexpected scene happened when they reached the airport. A huge crowd of eels were waiting for him. It seems like they expected him to travel to Tokyo that day. Since Kurt and other staff has already flown earlier. They waited the entire day at the departure area expecting him to show up.

Mr and Mrs Jang, who was supposed to leave the next day, ended up taking Belle with them and boarded on a different flight. They had a safe flight to Tokyo, was fetched by Kurt and Han Sung and nobody noticed them. While Keun Suk and his managers were stuck in Incheon for their flight got delayed.

All he ever thought of was Belle. When his Mom called him and said that Belle was already resting in her hotel room, that's when he finally calmed down. When he arrived at the hotel, he immediately ran into Belle's room only to find her sleeping. However the crease on her forehead tells him that she wasn't having a peaceful sleep. He laid next to her and stared at her face longingly.

"My dear Belle," he whispered and caressed her hair. Suddenly the crease on her forehead eased up. "Belle, if only I can erase all your fears and troubles, I'd do. I never want to see you that way anymore. In spite of everything that happened today, I am thankful that you are safe. I thank God, the heavens, all the saints and Buddha for keeping you safe. I don't know what to do if I lost you again. Don't leave me again, please," he whispered and kissed her head.

He stayed there for awhile then when manager Gun told him they had to start the rehearsal, with a heavy heart he left Belle to rest. But that was before he whispered sweet dreams and kissed her goodnight.
