Deviding the fandom into cliques

Idk I'm bored.

I've been in this damn fandom for almost five years, I've seen it all my dudes.

Of course the main two sections are team L and team Light, followed by the middle ground group of people who either don't care, can't decide or are on another characters side. 

Each team has these subsets.

The memers.

The ones that take any relevant meme and slap the DN characters into it. That's pretty much all they do, they take everything as a joke.

The love-haters.

Those who can't seem to get over all the bad things a character did and feel the constant need to remind everyone about it. They love to hate the characters and somehow still clam the characters they shit on to  be their favs??? They don't get along with the softies.

The softies (me)

Those who are a massive pile of UwU for their fav. They are aware of the bad things the character did but doesn't care because they aren't real and they just want the best for them. They focus on the positives in the character. These are usually the ones that make fanfics and head canons as well as all the soft art. Like the shippers they're also the ones to make NSFW stuff (despite being a softie)

Shippers

Despite there being next to no chemistry between any of the characters, they still ship. They get their fuel from fanfic, fanart and doujins rather than the canon content bc the canon content has zero backing for ships. And if they do, it's very little. Probably has or makes a stash of NSFW.

The OC machines.

Constantly cranking out their version of what A looks like, their fan characters and probably have an AU. these people have become a rare sight in the fandom as they years have gone by.

These are the main cliques I see in the fandom. Basically:

You're either team L or team Light, or in the middle ground and you're in one of those cliques.

Example: I'd probably be a team L softie.

There definitely was a lot more cliques in previous years but as the fandom shrunk over the years they've split into these main groups from what I've seen.

I fell like it works like this:

You have a team, clique and a "type". Type being the type of fangirl/boy you are (I made a post on that a while ago). And that kind of ranks your place in the fandom.

Also as a softie I've noticed all is softies seem to reside on mainly Wattpad and instagram. Like all the fics on here are usually super soft with a hint of edge. And all the AMV editors on Instagram LOOVVEE to make massive captions about their love under their edits. I barely see softies anywhere else. I feel like the love-haters and memers kinda took over everywhere else and we can watch but not interact. Oh well, they have tumblr we have wattpad and Instagram.

Another thing I noticed as an L softie, we seem to be a pretty small clique. We've all kind of talked to each other in a comment section at least once. Most of you softies I know by username off by heart because of the comment sections.

Man, we need like a discord server or group chat or something where he can just send pictures of L to each other and coo over him all day.

What do you think you classify as? If you're on wattpad, I'm guessing there'd be a lot of softies.
