Hc: you're a famous voice actor and singer. No one knows you have a boyfriend. L is well... the worlds greatest detective, no one knows he has a girlfriend. The both of your are famous for different things.

"You're lying!"

"I'm not!"

"There's no way!"

"Misa, I kid you not. My first girlfriend was a whole foot taller than me" Light said.

"But... you're so tall??? That would make her like- over 6 feet!" Misa replied.

"She was!"

L was getting pretty tired of hearing everyone talk about relationships all the time. It made him kind of gloomy since he couldn't see his own girlfriend as often because of the case and all the talk of relationships wasn't helping.

"L"

He turned to face Misa.

"What?" He sighed.

"Have you ever had a girlfriend? You don't seem like the dating type"

"Only one"

"What was she like?"

"Was? I'm still with her" he said.

"What? But you've never talked about her?"

"You never asked"

"Ok well what's she like?" Misa asked.

"Can't tell, that'd reveal her identity"

Misa glared at L, she wanted the details and all the juicy gossip. But she knew she wouldn't get it directly from L, there was no way he'd cave.

"Fine" she pouted.

Almost as if on cue, L's phone suddenly went off, the loud ring breaking into the rather quiet taskforce.

"Speak of the devil" he mumbled, picking up the phone and leaving the room to talk to you.

Misa watched L leave, the looked over at his still open computer. Light looked at Misa, knowing what she was thinking.

"Misa... no" he sighed.

"I wanna know!" She replied, pushing her office chair over to L's computer and beginning to click through files.

Most of his hard drive consisted of case stuff. Files upon filed of evidence. That and a folder labeled 'mittens' with pictures of the cat you both shared in it. Caving into the curiosity, Light slid his chair over too.

"You know he'll kill us if he sees us snooping" he said, matter of factly.

"I know" Misa replied.

"You don't care do you?"

"Nope. He's a noodle what can he do?"

"Are you forgetting the time he kicked me in the face and sent me literally flying across the room?"

"...apart from that"

She scrolled through the endless files on the computer until she finally found one labeled 'france'. She clicked on it and a ton of pictures popped up.

"Bingo" she smirked.

She began to scroll through all the pictures until she found some of L and a girl in front of the Eiffel Tower.

"These must be it!"

She double clicked one and sent it to full screen. Just as she thought, L and a girl with (h/c) (h/l) hair, (e/c) eyes and coping an oversized hoodie. They had their arms wrapped around each other and she was kissing his cheek.

"That must be her. She's pretty actually" Misa said, zooming in on you.

"Hold on... I know her" Light said.

Misa turned to him in confusion.

"What? As in you've met her?"

"No, I've seen her on TV"

Misa turned back to the screen, taking a good look at the girl in the photo.

"Actually now that you mention it..."

It was silent as they tried to figure out who it was and where they'd seen her.

"Wait- no way" Light began, grabbing the keyboard and typing in your name to google.

Up popped a picture of you and your wiki page.

"I knew it! She voices Yūki astsuna! You know from the magical girl show! Sayu loves her"

"Holy crap... L's dating a voice actor? And didn't she sing the opening theme for undercover lover?" Misa added.

"Yeah she did, Sayu likes that show too. She's got posters of her all over her room"

"Wow! How did L even come into contact with her?"

"I don't know but it makes sense by the both of them never talk about dating. If it got out that (y/n) was dating L a media shit storm would start"

"And this is why I don't trust you two..."

The Kira's froze at the sound of the familiar voice behind them. They turned to face L, who looked down at them sternly with crossed arms.

"H-hey...L" Misa said awkwardly.

"It was her idea"

"LIGHT!"

"You guys are such snoops... look just don't tell anyone" L sighed, frustrated with the two trouble makers.

"Ok ok, our lips are sealed... but... it's Sayus birthday next week... could you, like... get me an autograph for her?" Light asked.

"Fine. And Misa-"

L turned to Misa, who he knew would be asking non stop questions.

"Save the questions till after work at least..."

BONUS

"NO WAY! THANK YOU LIGHT YOU'RE THE BEST BROTHER EVER!" Sayu squeaked, looking down at the autograph from her idol.

"Don't mention it, just take care of it because I don't know if I could ever get something like this again" Light replied.

You and L watched form around the corner as Sayu jumped on her brother, pulling him into a hug.

"You know, even if he is Kira and kills a bunch of people, you gotta admit he's a pretty good brother" you said, turning to L.

"Don't sympathise with the enemy (y/n)! You're meant to be on my side!" L joked.

"I am! I just like seeing fans exited"

You looked back over at Light and Sayu. Gigging at Sayus fangirl moment as Light just watched, completely numb to his sisters behaviour.

"Although I gotta ask..."

L turned to you and tilted his head.

"What's with his haircut? Why is it slightly longer at the back and where the heck are the side parts of his bangs?"

L laughed at your comment.

"Don't ask, I'll never understand that mans fashion choices..."
