Chapter 17: Eventful Day Part 1

Angel's POV:
Two Months Later*

After that night, Justin and me stopped talking. I will admit I miss him but I'm not apologizing first. He snapped at me for no reason. I didn't see him as boyfriend material. But then I think back to that night I did my first few kills. When he kissed me, the spark between us was insane. I wanted him to kiss me again. But that was probably because he has soft, primly, pink lips. I wanted to bite them, suck on them, everything. But I couldn't. I dated five guys since that night we got into it but all of them didn't work out. Hell, I even dated Colin but that I'd do last long either. All I could think about was Justin. He was on my mind 24/7. I wanted him. I tried everything to get him off my min shut it's hard to do that when he goes to my school, when he's in my classes, and when he works at where I work at.

I asked advice with Kacey but she was much help. I found out she was jealous of Keisha for taking me away. Keisha wanted to fight her for having a problem with her for no reason. I wanted those two to make up. That's why I had an idea to get them together and to settle their beef. I wanted them to come to a restaurant for Chinese food at the mall. As I waited for them to show up, my mind reverted back to Justin. Every boy that wore glasses or had his black hair, I thought it was him. I wanted to talk to him. But I didn't wanna give in first. "Angel?" Called a voice. I turned my head to see Kacey. I smiled and waved her over. I hugged her tightly. "Hey boo. You hungry?" I asked. "Hi. Yeah I could eat." She said, as she sat down. I noticed her hair was half up and half down.

"What's up with your hair love?" I asked. "Oh. I'm supposed to go to my little brother's friend's bar mitzvah." She said. "Oh. I was finna mad because I thought you were finna go to a party and you didn't invite me." I said, jokingly. She laughed. "Now you know I'd bring you to a party." She said. Then she gasped. "What is SHE doing here?" She asked, glaring at something. I turned around and aw Keisha looking around. "Keisha!!!" I called. She looked at me and smiled but that smile disappeared when she seen Kacey. "Fuck is this bitch doing here?!" She asked. "Be careful who you call a bitch. I can show you how your mother dies ya know." Kacey said, icily. Keisha lunged for her but I got in between them. "Alright enough. This has got to stop." I said.

They stared at me. "You two are my bestest friends and your at each other's throats. It's okay with me. And it's definitely not okay with Annie." Is aid. Their faces softened. After I heard about Annie's miscarriage, I went to see her after my shift. Turns out she didn't lose her baby. The doctor made a mistake. He was new to the medical field and he made a mistake and had someone else's sheet. She's now three months pregnant with a baby girl. She has to take leave off for work until she hits six months. Bishop wants her to take a rest from work I til she gives birth but Annie denied it. She was even more scary now that she's pregnant. She said she will work till she hits seven months.

But Bishop has to force her to go home and rest until he says otherwise. She's been using her time to work til 3:00. That's when she has to go home. Bishop helps her and makes sure that she gets home safely. With Grey still on the run, who knows what could happen to her. "Angel?" Kacey called, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked at Kacey. "Look guys. I really love you both but please stop fighting. This isn't what I want to deal with everyday." I said. They looked at each other. "Please guys. If you hung out with each other, you'll realize how much fun you both are." I said. It was silent. "You were a pretty cool girl before you left Keisha." Kacey said. I smiled. "You were too Blondie." Keisha said, smiling. They laughed. "Okay cool. But stop starting shit with me." Keisha said. "I can't help it. I have to defend myself. It's what AA made me to be." Kacey said.

"True true." Keisha said. "So we good?" I asked, looking between them. "Yeah we good." Kacey said, smiling. "Alright. Let's eat." I said. We ordered our food and ate it. It was good. We spent the day shopping, then we went to my house. We walked inside only to have Tasha run up to us. She wrapped her little self around Kacey's legs. "Hi Tasha." She said. "Hi Kacey. That lip gloss you got me smells good. It's poppin." Tasha said. Kacey giggled. "Glad I can help." She said. "Angel, I'm going swimming with the mermaid pod. Come with. It'll be so much fun." Tasha said. "Umm, I'm kinda hanging with the girls." I said. She began pouting. "It's good Angel. We'll be here." Keisha said. "Umm, okay. Let's go." I said. "Wait where's Trey and them?" Kacey asked.
