JiU and the boy were walking away from the school in silence, leaving the two people that always annoyed her on their own as they are still frozen after hearing the boy's identity.

The boy was following a few steps away behind her with his hands shoved inside the pockets of his black hoodie.

"Are you following me?" She broke the silence between them while still walking with her back facing him.

"Are you blind? Can't you see I'm dancing with you?" He sarcastically said.

She scoffed, tightening her hug around her body. "You're really living up to your name. Full of bullshits." She remarked.

He let out a small chuckled. "Well, I got away without them knowing my name. I'll proudly say it works." He said.

JiU stopped, huffing out a long and depressing sigh. "Lucky for you. I just can hope they will not be chasing on my tail tomorrow." She said and started walking again.

"I'm feeling like they won't do that. They seem to like to see you suffer by yourself." He said his mind.

"Oh, thanks. I'm so happy to know that." She exclaimed in a cheerful mocking tone with a jack-up expression on her face.

She doesn't get any reply from him, causing the atmosphere to slowly turned quiet with only their steps visible to the ears.

The silent of the night between them somehow helped her to sort out her mind and calmed her inner self down about the supernatural tragedy happened to her and worse, to her sister, Yoohyeon.

That boy quite admired her mental and physical strength as she managed to stay calm amidst what happened around them. He just shrugged it off and be glad if that means less trouble for him.

"My house is just around that corner. So, you can stop 'escorting' me now." JiU once again broke the silence and pointed to the right corner at the end of the road.

He tilted his head to the side, looking at where she is pointing. "Sure...but are you two living alone?" He asked.

She turned around, still hugging herself. "Why you ask?" She fiercely glared at him.

He doesn't even seem to be fazed by it. "Just curious. You don't look like to worry about your parent. This is no small matter, you know."

She pouted her lips to the side, still glaring at him.

He rolled his eyes from behind the hoodie and turned around to leave but halted halfway through as she spoke.

"They are never around. Heck, they're not even in Korea right now. I'm sure Everything will already turn to normal before they come back." She said, giving him a small forced smile.

Although she said that casually like it's not a big deal to her, but he could see the depression and sadness in her eyes and also in her voice. He knows his place and doesn't have the right to push the subject even further.

He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, one less thing to worry about then, I guess." He said carefully not to sound offended or harsh.

She just flashed a smile toward his covered face.

"Goodbye then." He said, turning around.

"Wait!" She said while stepping forward a little bit. "You still don't tell me your name, the real one." She informed.

He stopped but not turning back. "Just call me like what you called me at school." He said.

Her mouth slightly gaps opened. "You're my schoolmate? And I know you?" She was quite surprised.

"Not really know me, you just broke my chair this morning." He said and started walking slowly.

She gasped as the realization hits her on her head. "Ghost!?"

"Now, don't be a snitch and tell them about me." He joked and fasten his pace.

"No, I won't." She then noticed him getting farther away so she yelled. "Thank you! And sorry about your arm!"

He just raised his right arm halfway and waved it to the left and to the right.

==========

"Ah! Idiot JiU. You should at least offer to take him to the hospital or at least clinic. Just thanking him feels not enough." She scolded herself on the way to her house gate.

"I should do that tomorrow if he will not absent." She said and pushed the gate open and closed it back after getting in, locking it as the last action.

She got inside her house and locked the front door. Stepping inside her own house, her safe haven caused her to lose all the strength that she muttered difficultly to stood her ground earlier.

Her feet were feeling so heavy like a magnet sticking onto the steel floor as she dragged it across the hallway and into the living room, given she doesn't have any energy to climb the stairs to go to her room.

She let her body crashed on the sofa, instantly shut her eyes and covered them with her arm.

'Yoohyeon...'

'I will save you, I promise...and...'

'I'm sorry...I'm really sorry...'

All her energy were gone as unconsciousness took over with her tears finally broke free and was flowing down from her eyes to her ears.
