The words that came out from the boy in front of her caused her brain to recoil into a string of confusion. The panic from the situation didn't help her one bit.

He said she must order him so that he can move. What the heck was that? That can only happen in some movies, not in real life. That was what running through her mind as she dazed like a person that just woke up from sleep.

Given they didn't have much time and danger will approach but she was still frozen in her place like that, he forced his body to slightly move.

He took a step and grabbed her shoulders. "Kim Minji! Just say it. I won't last long." He pressured, looking into her eyes.

The lack of sense that she can make frustrated her to no end so she rubbed her already messy hair while groaning and said, "Fine! Go do whatever you want with that thing and it's not my problem if you die!"

By the time she finished saying that was the moment their smoky bug opponent rushed toward them, so he let go of her shoulders and ran toward it head-on causing her panic to layer up.

"Ya! Wait!" It was already too late as he was already halfway through to that thing.

"Don't worry. I won't die. Just make sure you don't get caught up in this." He wasn't even shouting but her hearing could hear that.

His action once again proved to her that he is totally crazy as she watched him dodge its claw to his face and smashed his right fist on its head, sending it back several steps of its many legs.

She gasped in awe when he managed to hurt that translucent kind of creature. And of course, that took a great toll on his body as he puffed out heavily. While gathering his strength, he turned toward her.

"You're not leaving? You can move now, right?" He asked.

Gotten the question then she realized that she had the energy to move again. 'Is it because of what he did?' She thought, glaring dagger at him from her place. What he did was still unacceptable but at least it helps.

"I'm not leaving because I'm going to interrogate you later." She said firmly.

Before he could reply to her, his enemy recovered and lunged toward him, trying to rip him apart again. He just sidestepped to the left, spun around, and brought his leg to its head one more time.

The impact from his kick sent it flying before it dropped on the ground and dissipated into a wild smoke, slowly trying to regain its solid shape again.

He still managed to chuckle in his state of heavy breathing. "Look here, I can't go on all day like this. This effect is only momentary so you better escape while you can, Minji." Pleading look directed straight to her.

She stood there, returning his gaze with her own. That time his eyes looked different. For the first time, his expression emitting a feeling, multiple feelings at that, in fact.

Scared, pity, helplessness, and care. All those feelings fused into one big piece which was that he doesn't want her to die. To be precise, he doesn't want any more people to die in front of him because that will hurt him the most and he had enough of it before.
