The first half of the classes were over in a blink of an eye. Well, not really to be exact. If Geoul wasn't mistaken, he blinked more than a hundred of times before it finally reached recess time.
Normally, he would've slept whenever the teacher wasn't paying attention to the students at the back rows but today he stays awake. He yawned once in a while but that was it. He still listened to the lessons.
That aside, Yoohyeon would always nudge him if he even closed one eye so that makes it impossible for him to take a quick nap. He thought someone who becomes her desk mate would be a genius in no time.
He chuckled at the thought and stood up, tidying his table before going out to enjoy his recess time. He yawned once again like a cat that just finished a quick nap which he didn't get to do.
Yoohyeon and Dami quickly became a pair as they headed out of the classroom. They caught up to him in the hallway.
"Yah! You were gone like a wind. No wonder JiU unnie call you a ghost." He heard Yoohyeon behind him.
He slowed down to let them catch up beside him. Maybe he would just leave them if he was still his old self but as of right now, he couldn't seem to do that anymore.
"Why? Do you need me for something?" He asked as they walked down the hallway with his hands in his pockets.
His eyes weren't even on the girls but looking through the clear transparent glass windows to the ground in front of the building they were in.
There were a variety of flowers arranged in a square-shaped area and one long bench on each of its sides. No people could be seen there except one girl, eating peacefully.
"Of course we need you. Let's eat, duh." Yoohyeon said, mocking an annoyed tone.
"Go eat then. You already have a mouth or you want me to feed you?" He deadpanned, successfully extracted a giggle from Dami.
Amidst her frustration, Yoohyeon quickly remarked back at him. "Wow! Can't believe you know how to joke." She "tch!" at him and crosses her arms.
"You guys thought I'm a robot or what?"
"Not just a robot, but a mute robot."
"Is that true?" He turned the question to Dami.
"Oh?" She was surprised, not quite familiar to be someone that people will turn to for that kind of teasing question. The normal questions she got was of a life decision or about the study.
"It's true, I think. Maybe because you didn't talk with other students and always have a poker face." Dami answered truthfully.
"Hmm, that hit really straight." He said.
Dami's mouth was opened, looking at him with guilt. She was afraid of what she said might offend him and scolded herself mentally for being so insensitive.
Geoul saw her face and laughed it off. "Yah, Lee Yubin, I'm joking. Don't sweat it."
Dami gasped in realization and Yoohyeon playfully hits her shoulder as they both lightly laughed.

The group arrived in the crowded but refreshing cafeteria. The tables and chairs were insanely clean the same with the floor and walls. It wasn't like their old school's canteen was dirty but what they see now was so neat and pleasant to the eyes.
The three stopped and stood still for a moment to take the view in. Yoohyeon even spun her body around to look at all available corners of the cafeteria. Awe was totally shown on her bright face.
