Jolted awake, the dream of her past comes to an end but the feelings that she felt were so real. It felt like that every time which makes her heart heavy and jumbled.

She looked around, quite confused about where she was at that time. After a while, her brain started to process all the material for her memories so she breathed out, calming down.

"You're okay, now?"

She looked to the side where the voice came from and dumbfounded for a moment as the realization hits her. She was at the hospital, visiting him and her bad condition struck because his birthday is the same as her brother.

She couldn't help but poke mullock at her own ridiculous wishful thinking. Her brother was gone and nothing else can change that fact.

"Should I call the doctor?"

His second question got her attention. "No need. I'm fine." She threw her feet off from the bed. "Looks like I'm taking over your bed. Sorry about that."

"Don't be. I've already bailed out anyway." He said and zipped up his black hoodie.

She kind of surprised by the news. "Already? Several of your ribs are broken you know." Her eyebrows stood up at him.

"Was broken. The doctor said it's all healed." He shrugged.

The mentioned of the doctor gave her no chance to protest anymore so she just said nothing while watching him picking up his stashed stuff in a small basket on the cabinet at the corner of the room.

Done picking up his stuff, he turned around. "Minji and Yoohyeon came earlier."

She looked at him with silent before she looked away, getting off the bed. "How long have I been passed out? I need to send all these forms before this evening."

"They already took it so you can rest for a bit." He said while putting on his shoes.

Upon hearing that, her movement of hooking the bag around her neck slowed down. "Ah, I see. At least they are being useful."

He smashed his sole on the tiles floor, fixing the position of his fingers inside the shoes as he heaved out. He didn't know and doesn't want to know what is their problem but he just couldn't seem to ignore it either.

"I don't know what's the deal between you two but their worries and panic  totally visible when they came in right after you passed out."

"Is that so?" She muttered, gripping the string of her bag.

"Yeah. Do you think I can lift you all the way to the bed alone? You're heavy." He commented while walking toward the door.

She whipped her neck toward him. "Ya! That's rude." She chased out at him as he didn't even run.

"That's not how you talk to a girl. Especially as pretty as me."

As they exited the room together, he sneered at her. That narcissistic comment reminded him of one particular blonde girl but he kept that to himself.

He was not one to talk much with other people but talking to her cause him to keep answering and spilling out every word that he wanted to say until he realized it and said no more.

They walked along the hallway before she stopped a few meters from reaching the counters of the second floor. He stopped and looked back, observing her turbulence face like the tides above the sea.

He knew she wanted to say something so he let her take her time and waited.

Releasing her clenched fist, she looked up at him. "Will you still care about someone who blames you...for something that's not your fault?"
