Geoul POV

JiU and SuA looked at each other before they look at me on the ground below them, confusion totally shown on their faces. I guessed it was about how in the world they gonna get down from there.

I didn't want to do it this way but we've got no time to waste. I could feel something terribly wrong was going to happen and the lack of visions surrounding us convinced me even more.

"Jump down! I'll catch you!" I yelled up while knowing all too well the faces they will give me. Well, at least one of them made my guess right.

"Ya! Are you out of your mind!? We might die if you failed to catch us!" The blonde girl resorted back to me as expected.

"No, you won't. The biggest possibility is just breaking your legs or bones." The other girl beside her dismissed her thought quite sarcastically and asked me, "Are your hand okay though?"

I'd be lying if I say it was okay. "Can't really feel anything now so it'll be fine." My reply caused her mouth to slightly moved to the side as she sighed with concern.

"Alright. We can't afford to waste any more time here so I'll jump now." She told me and stepped closer to the broken ledge of the platform. "Ya! Make sure you catch me!"

Her reminder clearly shows that the president of the student representative can also feel scared and it was kind of amusing to witness. She probably won't jump before she gets my answer so I somehow chuckled and nodded.

That reassured her enough as she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and separated herself from the platform. She descended down with a vertical position so all I gotta do was preventing her feet from touching the ground.

Strengthened my legs and arms, aiming for her waist before carefully grabbed it both with my two hands. She adapted well with the situation by bending her legs to the back not touching the ground.

She instantaneously hooked her arms around my neck and safely landed down. To my surprise, her body felt kind of small. It was filling my hands but...I guess small was the right word.

"I'm fully down now?" She asked, eyes tightly shut still.

"Yeah. Your small body is advantageous after all." I put her down on the ground and when my eyes landed on her face, I realized her sharp gaze. I wondered if it was because of my comment.

SuA POV

'Your small body is advantageous after all.'

His words looped repeatedly in my head as my mind slowly spinning back way to the past eight years ago.

I was sitting in the front porch while moving my legs back and forth, taking in the view of the neatly lined flowers and soothing breezes of the evening.

The real reason was to wait for my parents to come home from their works. That if they will come home at all and not doing overtime again just like the day before and before.

Nonetheless, it was normal for us to be left alone throughout the night but still, it was worth the try. I know being a lawyer and a detective isn't an easy job. They sacrifice their time for the good of the country. It was a noble job, at least to naive me...at that time.

"Noona. What are you doing out here? It's cold."

I turned my head to the side after hearing his soft voice. "Oh, did you wake up? How's your nap?" I smiled, rustling his hair causing him to close his eyes while giggling.
