Audrey's POV

Ashton cried for the next 2 hours, soaking Marisa's shirt sleeve. The whole time, she didn't move, she had the same expression as she rubbed his back soothingly.

When he didn't have any tears left, he started sniffling and laughing lightly. Pulling back from Marisa, he looked up at Mikey, who was silently crying himself.

"Mikey," Ash sobbed as he got up and hugged his friend.

As they held each other crying, Luke wrapped his arms around my waist and set his head on my shoulder.

"How did you know Ashton wouldn't hit you?" Calum asked as Ashton and Mikey went down to the lobby.

"I didn't," Marisa said as she finished off her drink.

"Than he-"

"Could've hit me, yeah." She said as she threw her cup away.

"Damn," Luke said shocked.

"If he hit her, she would've hit him back, ten times harder," I smiled as she nodded knowingly.

"Well, I'd love to stay, but Scouts are coming tomorrow and I need to rest!" Waving, she walked out.

As the door closed, we all heard her phone vibrate. Shit.

"I'll take it down to her," nodding Calum grabbed it and rushed down.

As the door closed, Luke and I rushed to the window and watched as Calum approached Marisa with her phone.

"Is she blushing?" Luke asked shocked.

"Oh my god I don't know!" I said as I watched her walk away and Calum walk back into the hotel.

-------------------------------

"C 'mon Risa!" I shouted as Marisa hit the ball into the court, giving our team another point.

"Was that good?" Calum asked as he ate a nacho.

"Yes," I said as I stole a nacho and watched our team play.

Before I know it, Marisa's on the floor screaming in pain as she held her knee. Tears ran down her face.

"What happened?" I shouted as I ran on the court.

Calum was behind me as he kneeled down next to Marisa as she held her knee.

"We got to get her to the hospital," I said scared for my friend.

"Someone call an ambulance!" Someone shouted but Calum shook his head.

"That'll take to long, I'll take her, Audrey go start the car, I'll meet you there," nodding I ran to the car , Luke following, and waited for Calum to come.

As I saw him walk out, I saw he held Marisa tightly to his chest as she cried in pain from her knee.

Opening the door, Luke helped Calum get into the car as he held Marisa to the whole ride.

-----------------------------

"We need someone now!" I shouted as 5 nurses ran over with a wheel chair.

As they wheeled Marisa away, we all sat and called the others and Marisa's parents, telling them about the news. Mikey and Ashton rushed over, but Marisa's parents didn't even sound like they cared.

"Anyone here for Marisa?" A doctor called out, all of us standing up.

"Hello, so Marisa's knee cap separated from the tissue under it. So we had to replace the tissue with metal instead. She's asleep right now but she'll be up soon," nodding, we all walked into her room and saw her sleeping.

Her left knee was propped up and was wrapped tightly. Even above her cast, which was from mid calf and mid thigh, we could see the bruising.

"My poor baby!" I cried as I found a seat next to Marisa's bed. Luke stood behind me, rubbing my shoulders soothingly with his hands. Calum sat on the other side, and held one of her hands.

"Cal?" I asked.

"Hm?" he hummed.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I pointed to him holding her hand.

"Hold her hand, what the hells it look like?" he asked.

I put my hands up defensively as I knew he was upset that Marisa was hurt. I was too. But he more than us, because he liked her, a lot.

"Do you want anything to eat?" Luke whispered in my ear.

"A water please," I whispered back before he left to get our drinks. I turned to Calum.

"When do you plan on telling her?" I asked him.

"I don't know," he said solemnly.

"Well, you need to soon, because Marisa was asked to go to a school shadowing. So if she likes it, the chances of you getting another chance is slim," I said honestly, I'm not going to watch him be depressed.

"I'll think of something," he said looking at Marisa.

--------------------------

Ashton and Mikey showed up a couple minutes later and we were all sitting surrounding the bed that held our sleeping friend.

"I wish that I could wake up with Amnesia, and forget about these stupid little things," Luke hummed as I sat on his lap.

"Like the way it felt to fall asleep next to you," Ashton sang.

"And the memories I'll never get to escape," Calum sang off beat, making all of us laugh.

"I love you guys, but stop serenading me and get me some damn pain relievers because my knee hurts like a bitch," Marisa groaned with her eyes closed but a slight smile.

"Welcome back to the world of the living," Calum said as he looked at her lovingly.

"Love you too," she mumbled with a small smile.
