Kirk couldn't believe his sister and first officer were taken to who knows where. Everyone had just gotten back in their seats when the door opened, revealing Dr. McCoy. The doctor looked around and didn't see Spock or Alex and then glared at the captain.
"Dammit Jim, I just got a new nurse and you got her in trouble!"
"I just wanted to show her the bridge..." Kirk said.
"Well, where are Spock and Alex now?" Bones asked.
"Captain, transmission coming through now," Uhura said as an alien figure appeared onscreen. They had similar features to a Vulcan, but had green skin and purple eyes.
"Who are you? What did you do to my crew?" Kirk demanded.

Alex woke up coughing and found herself on the ground. She blinked and saw Spock in the cell laying on the floor next to her. Alex instinctively looked for a pulse and tried to remember the Vulcan anatomy she had learned. She felt his heart beat as he started to stir and looked at Alex. Alex dropped her hand as he sat up.
"Miss Kirk, are you alright?" the Vulcan asked.
"I was just making sure you were," she said.
"I am alright Miss Kirk."
"Please, call me Alex," she said.
"Then call me Spock," he said as Alex smiled. Spock raised an eyebrow.
"I guess I won't be helping Dr. McCoy now," Alex tried to joke.
"No. It appears we may need assistance now however," Spock said as he looked around.
"We don't even have phasers," Alex sighed.
"Your brother and I have faced worse Alex. And we don't always need weapons when one has a cunning mind."
"Are you referring to the Vulcan nerve pinch that you can do?" Alex thought the Vulcan almost smiled.
"It is a biological advantage," Spock smugly said. Alex raised an eyebrow. Footsteps were then heard and their conversation interrupted as someone came down. Alex saw that he had similar features to a Vulcan, but had green skin and purple eyes. Alex and Spock stood up. Spock took a step in front of Alex.
"Are either of you Kirk?" he said roughly. Spock glanced over at her.
"I'm Kirk," Alex started to say. The alien opened the door and walked toward her. Spock tried to protest, but the alien overtook him easily as the Vulcan fell to the ground, holding his head.
"Spock," Alex gasped as she leaned down. The alien grabbed her by the shoulder, Alex tried to shake him off.
"I'm a medical officer, at least let me see if he is alright. He's of no use to you dead, nor am I," she spat back. The alien reluctantly nodded his head and let go. Alex turned her attention to Spock, he held his head, but there was no blood.
"He attacked my mind, I have no injury," Spock muttered.
"Your mind? Let me just see..." Alex had no equipment on her, but she put her hand on his head. She did not feel any bruising or cut. She wanted to say something, but was afraid with the unwanted chaperone captor they had.
"It appears you're fine," she said as she let go.
"Remember the Koboyashi Maru," Spock said as the alien grabbed hold of Alex once more. Alex shared one last look with the Vulcan as she was led away.

This isn't part of the story, but I wanted to add a little note. I'm sorry I haven't updated on a regular basis, my main computer kind of crashed on me and so I had to back everything up and start again on a new computer. So I will try to update a little better now. Thanks for reading! :)
