Alex walked with Spock to his quarters. They walked into his room before she started talking.

"I started reading the book you gave me," she started to say. Spock raised an eyebrow.

"And what did you think?" Alex blushed.

"I was quite surprised by your choice of literature," she said.

"Yes, well, I was told it was an interesting read..."

"It certainly is." Spock then grimaced in pain from his wound and sat down on his bed. Alex sat down next to him.

"Spock..."

"I am fine."

"That book, did you really pick it out?"

"Dr. McCoy thought it would be humorous, but I fail to see how."

"Oh, it's his? That explains it." Spock looked at her.

"Explains what?"

"All the uh, adult content I suppose."

"I still do not understand the human mind," Spock said.

"Neither do I. Spock, maybe he thought we were doing that stuff," Alex's voice trailed off. Spock looked at the ground before he looked at her.

"Do you want to?" Spock's voice cracked.

"Definitely not the ways they do it in that book," Alex replied.

"Agreed."

"So, um, what are we doing?" Alex asked as she looked at the Vulcan. Spock leaned in and kissed her.

Edit: I added the song More Than Friends to this part because I think this song fits Spock and Alex.
