Amanda went back into Sick Bay and saw Alex working with some hyposprays. She glanced up when she saw Spock's mother.
"Is everything alright?" She asked.
"Sarek's much better thank you." A moment passed.
"Do you need anything else?" Alex said as she fidgeted with some tools.
"Spock always means well even if he doesn't say it." Alex raised an eyebrow.
"Did he say something?"
"I'm sorry, I just saw the Titanic book in his room. He's never had a lot of friends, so I'm happy he's found another." Alex just nodded her head.
"Yes. He's a good... friend." Amanda nodded and turned to the door. Alex bit her lip before saying something.
"I'm sorry for intruding, but how did you and Sarek get along?" Amanda stopped, turned toward Alex, and smiled.
