Jim Kirk nearly slammed his fist on the arm of his command chair as his sister's voice was cut off from him. He sighed before his first officer stepped down beside him.
"We've got to get her back," Jim said.
"I agree captain. But there's a threat down there and we don't know who they are," Spock replied as the captain stood up.
"She's your damn girlfriend Spock! Is chivalry dead or do you just not care?" Jim retorted. Spock looked at him, as did the rest of the bridge crew.
"I do care captain, but the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one, and we need to find out who we are facing without being killed as soon as we beam down," Spock tried to explain. Jim sighed again.
"Your logic prevails once more. Scotty, do whatever scan you can do to see what kind of ship is hiding from us out there. Uhura, open all channels. We've got to talk to somebody," Kirk ordered as they said aye sir.Alex woke up in a cell. She saw only one security member across her cell from her. He had a nasty cut on his arm as he saw her. She went to the edge of her cell to him.
"Johnson, where are we?"
"You don't want to know."
"I think I do." He shook his head. Then she heard a scream as she looked around.
"They'll torture you the worst because of him." Alex frowned.
"I'm not my brother."
"No, you're bait." Alex shrunk back away. She looked down. No phaser, no communicator, and a security officer who thought they were doomed. She only hoped McCoy would feel better once she was back so he could fix her. If she made it back.Note: I'm going to try to update again soon, but with Thanksgiving and soon to be Christmas, I'm not sure when I'll update. This little side adventure of Alex on her mission was sort of inspired by Taylor Swift's song The Man, cuz I sort of imagined Alex trying to be like her brother who is a captain, and Alex wonders what it would be like if she was The Man. 😂
