Chapter Twenty Nine

Jim, Spock, Bones, and Sarek were in the transporter room. It was decided Sarek would go alone.
"Remember, getting you two out of there is all that matters," Jim said as Sarek got on the transporter. He nodded before looking at Scotty.
"Energize." Sarek vanished as McCoy looked at the captain.
"Do you really think that's a good idea?" The Doctor asked.
"No, but it's all we've got."

Alex stunned the Romulan and left him in the cell as the three of them escaped. The other two had cuts and bruises as well but overall not in terrible shape to escape. Alex was the only one armed as she wondered where their phasers and communicators had been taken to.
"Do you remember what direction we were taken?" Alex quietly asked.
"No," Martin said as Johnson shook his head.
"Right. Hard way then. Let's just find the transporter and get the hell out of here," she said as they agreed. They had made a few turns in a hallway before they heard voices.
"Sarek has arrived," a Romulan said as they halted.
"Then we need to get the prisoners," the other replied. Alex's eyes went wide as she stood in front of the others. She couldn't tell if the Romulans were armed, but assumed they were. She was about to turn around when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye.
"They've escaped! Get them!" The Romulan said as the other fired a phaser. The three ducked and ran another direction.
A siren then was heard blaring on the ship as Sarek stood off the transporter. Then he saw Alex and two Starfleet officers running faster than he imagined they could.
"Get back on there!" Alex yelled as Sarek did so. He didn't expect this Kirk to be able to escape Romulans, especially with just a phaser. Several other Romulans were after them, but one of the other Starfleet officers hit a button on the transporter as they got aboard. Alex barely made it in time but a Romulan was firing a phaser at them. Sarek stood wide eyed as a phaser beam hit her as they disappeared off the ship.

Note: the world has been very strange lately but I still hope to at least get some writing done. Idk how often but I may have a little more time than I did. I have the next part sort of planned out so maybe I can upload more soon. Stay safe everybody!
