Today I was able to find out the gender of my baby, and I was so excited. Marshall was coming as well, and Tara was doing the scan for us. I had the kids at the clubhouse, since Jax and them agreed to watching the kids for a while. I was honestly grateful to them sometimes. They were my family, and I loved them dearly, even if they screw up a lot. As long as when they mess up it doesn't mess with my kids, because if it does, well, they sure as hell won't be happy to see me afterwards. Anyhow, Marshall and I got dressed, though it wasn't easy for me to fit much of my clothes anymore, since my tummy was bigger now.
Once we were dressed and ready, Marshall drove himself and I to St Thomas, where we'd be meeting up with Tara. As soon as we got there, I texted Tara and she told me to come straight to her office. Which is exactly what Marshall and I did, once we had entered the hospital. She had me lay on her couch, before she began the ultrasound.
"So, would you like to know the gender?" She asked, and we nodded.
"Yes!" I squealed, and she laughed.
"Well, looks like you're having another girl." She answered, and Marshall jokingly groaned.
She printed off two copies of the scan, before she put the machine away. Marshall and I then left and headed to the clubhouse. We walked inside, before three of the girls rushed over to us and wrapped around our legs.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked, as I picked up Whitney.
"Uncle Jax is trying to get us!" Emi exclaimed, before Jax came in carrying Lanie upside down and tickling her.
"I give up!" She squealed, as Cela laughed.
"Alright guys, Marshall wants a few helpers to set up the nursery. He won't let me help, and says it's a surprise." I stated, before Juice, Chibs, and Kozik stepped up to help.
The four of them left, before I began to play with the girls as well. Around noon though, I went into the kitchen and began to make lunch. I made grilled cheese and tomato soup. I called everyone into the kitchen, before handing them their plates. The kids sat around the table and ate, whilst everyone else ate at the bar. Once we were done eating, I had to put Whitney down for a nap.
"Okay, who's apartment has the least mess and no chance of STDs?" I asked, and everyone laughed.
"Mine should be fine for Whit to take a nap." Jax said, and I smiled and nodded.
I brought Whitney into the room and laid her on the bed. I laid next to her and ran my fingers through her hair, waiting for her to fall asleep. She looked up at me, waiting for me to sing. I smiled down at her, knowing she wasn't going to sleep otherwise, but I was fine with that. So, I cleared my throat and began to sing to her.
Once she was asleep, I walked out of the room, only to be stopped by the guys.
"You sing really good." Opie said, and I smiled.
"Yeah, I sing to her before she goes to sleep. I, uh, I sang at my friend's funeral a couple weeks ago as well." I replied, and the guys nodded.
Around three in the afternoon, Marshall came back with the others, and he asked me to come home with him. The girls were coming as well, so they could see the nursery too. We piled into Marshall's truck before he drove home.
