Marshall left early this morning to go to his first stop on tour. The girls were all still in bed, so I was the only one who seen him off. He went into the girls rooms and whispered "I'll be back soon. I love you baby." to each girl before kissing their heads and walking out of their rooms. He held me in a hug for a couple minutes, not wanting to let me go, as I didn't want to let him go either. I was going to miss him, just as much as the girls were going to miss him as well.

Anyhow, around seven, I had to wake the girls up to bring them to school today. They were starting a new year, and we're quite nervous about the new school years. Lanie was starting her second middle school, and Cela was starting her last year of middle school. Hailie and Emi were getting farther up in elementary school. Emi was starting third grade, and Hailie was starting fourth grade.

While the girls were getting ready for school, I was making them breakfast. After they were done getting dressed and ready, they ran downstairs for breakfast.

"Girls, your Dad said he's very proud of you all. He's sorry he couldn't be her for your first day of school, but to make it up to you, he bought you gifts for the school year." I stated, as I handed each girl a gift bag and a huge box.

The bag contained their new bookbag and all the school supplies they'd need, and the box contained new school clothes, shoes, and other things he thought they'd want. Cela's stuff was mostly band related or Gucci, since she loved rock bands. Her bookbag was the shoe brand, Vans, that she had loved. Lanie's stuff was mostly PINK brand stuff, since she loved their brand. Hailie's stuff was mostly One Direction, since she had now gotten an obsession with them. Emi's stuff was mostly Hello Kitty, since it was still one of her favorites. He even bought Whitney and Lori stuff, though they weren't going to school. Whitney's was most Doc McStuffins, since that was her favorite show. Lori's stuff was mostly Paw Patrol, since she would actually sit and watch that show.

"This is why we didn't go shopping for school supplies, by the way." I commented, and the girls smiled.

"Daddy's awesome!" Hailie exclaimed, and I smiled.

"Yeah, he really is." I replied, before picking up the girls' empty dishes.

Once we were all ready, I loaded the girls all into Marshall's truck. He had left the truck for me, so that I could carry all the girls at one time. He had taken my car, a new one he had bought for my birthday. It was a Cadillac, though it wasn't as big as Marshall's truck. Anyhow, once everyone was in the truck, I drove down to the middle school first. Once the girls found their classes, I drove to the elementary school, and helped the girls find their class rooms.

After I helped the girls find their class rooms, I brought Whitney and Lori back to the truck, before driving home. Once we were at home, I gave the girls some snacks and a juice box. Well, Lori was given a bottle, but it was still the same juice as Whitney. Anyhow, while I was cleaning, I heard my phone start ringing. I picked it up, and seen Jax was calling me. I was confused, but answered anyway.

K - hello?

J - Kori...

K - Jax? What's wrong?

J - Tara's gone.

K - What do you mean by gone?

J - She, uh, she's dead.

K - Oh Jax, I'm so sorry. How'd it happen?

J - Someone killed her.

K- Do you know who?

J - No, but Juice does. He's in jail right now for killing Franklin. He's going to tell me what happened.

K - Let me know when you find out. How would he know though?

J - He was there when it happened. That's where Franklin was killed.

K- Yeah? Well, that means he was protecting someone from getting caught. Who would he protect? Were all the guys with you? What could've triggered the murder?

J - Well, I was going to turn myself in to get Tara and the boys out of Charming safely. The only person I know of that hated it was Mom, but I didn't think she'd do that.

K - I'm not saying she did, but maybe you should ask Juice about her or maybe ask her yourself.

J - I'll ask Juice. I don't want to piss off my mother.

K - Well, good luck to you Jax. Don't do anything irrational. Your boys need you.

Soon the call ended, before I went back to cleaning. I couldn't believe Tara was dead. She's the only level headed female in the boys' life. I knew she had pissed Gemma off often, she did me as well when she left Jax heartbroken to go to Chicago. I hated her for it, but now I didn't hate her, and I felt so bad for the boys. I knew they missed her, and I was sad to hear that she was officially gone forever. I sure hope Gemma didn't kill her, since Gemma would be killed as well. Then the boys wouldn't have any women to look up to in their lives.

I looked into the living room and seen both girls were asleep. I picked them up and carried them into their rooms. I kissed their heads and smiled down at them. I loved them with all my heart. I couldn't think of any reason I wouldn't. They were two of the best things to ever happen to me. I knew I couldn't live without me, and I knew they depended on me as well. I don't know what would happen if I ended up like Tara. That's why we left Charming, because you either leave without anyone noticing or you stay too long and end up dead...
