Today was the last day before Marshall went on tour. I was sad he was leaving, but I was proud of him for everything he was achieving. Lori had officially turned one last week, which was a good thing. I was glad Marshall didn't have to miss his daughter's first birthday. I knew he would've torn himself up inside if he were to have missed her first birthday. I knew what he would do, since honestly, I would do the same if I had missed her first birthday. No matter what the circumstances were, I would've hated myself for missing it, just like he would as well.

"Let's go out to the park; let the girls play." Marshall stated, and I nodded.

"That sounds like a good idea to me." I replied, and he smiled.

We told the girls to get ready, before we headed to the park. Lori was still a bit too young for most of the park things, so I just pushed her in the swing. All the other girls ran around and played games together. As I was pushing Lori, I looked over and seen Cela talking to a boy about her age, maybe a little older.

"Marshall, Cela's talking to a boy." I commented, and Marshall quickly moved his eyes to their direction before glaring.

"I told her she wasn't aloud to talk to any boys. She isn't aloud to date until I'm dead, and she has to wait two more days to make sure I'm actually dead." Marshall stated, and I smiled.

"Marshall, she's growing up. She's fourteen. She's going to like boys, and nothing we can say or do will stop her. If anything, if we try to stop her from talking to a boy, it'll end up like Romeo and Juliet." I said, and Marshall frowned.

"I still don't like it. Besides, that boy is a total fuckboy, and I don't want her talking to him." Marshall commented, and I nodded.

"That's fine. Once we leave, she'll never talk to him again. You're just going to have to learn to deal with it though Marshall. Soon she'll be dating, and then she'll move out, get married and have her own kids." I said, before Marshall glared at me.

"No dating. No marriage. No kids. Hell, I may not let here move out until she's twenty five." Marshall stated, and I shook my head with a smile.

"Oh Marshall, you'll have to come to terms with it one day. At least when you do, it'll have already happened." I replied, as he pouted.

Honestly, I was a bit hesitant on Cela dating as well, but I knew she was growing up. I knew she was getting older, no matter how much I despised it. All the girls were getting older. Soon, Lanie would be starting her period, than she'd be close to dating. I hated the idea, but I knew it was true. All the girls were going to grow up, even if we wanted them to stay young forever.

"You won't ever grow up, will ya Lori? You'll stay Daddy's little girl forever, isn't that right?" Marshall cooed, and Lori laughed and smiled.

He knew she didn't understand a word he was saying or what the hell he was talking about, but she was more than happy to talk with her Daddy. She loved him, maybe more than she loved anyone else in the world, just like all the girls. The girls had a tight bond with Marshall, one I wouldn't really understand since my Dad really wasn't around much to bond with.

When I was younger, my Dad was too busy getting drunk and screwing cro eaters, he really didn't spend time with me. Opie was the one who cared for me, though he was only two years older than I was. Same with Jax, he cared for me when Opie couldn't. I remember when we were younger, Jax and Opie would run boys off all of the time. I think that's why I ended up being alone until I moved to Detroit. Jax was one of the only guys I had any type of "relationship" with. Even than, it was more of a friends with benefits relationship. To tell the truth, I had slept with Jax three days before I left for Detroit, two days before I had slept with Hale. When I look at Emi, with her blonde hair and blue eyes, all I can think about is the undoubtble truth that Emi was a result of Jax and my secret relationship behind Opie's back.

"Baby, we should bring the girls for some food." Marshall said, breaking me out of my trance.

"Alright. Chinese?" I asked, and he nodded.

We piled into his truck and headed to one of my favorite restaurants, China King. I loved their beef fried rice and General Tso's chicken. Anyhow, once we were inside, we ordered our food and sat around the table as a family.

"These next few months are going to be the longest months of my life." Marshall said, and I nodded in agreement.

"Mine as well. Honestly, I haven't been away from you for more than a week without seeing you. I would say two months, but I did visit you often during those two months, so they don't really count." I replied, and he bit his lip.

"I guess you could say they were a bit of practice." He commented, and I nodded.

"I'm still proud of you, no matter what anyone says." I said, and he smiled.

As we sat at the table laughing and talking, I realised how much I was going to miss these family moments for the next few months.

"So, Cela, who was that boy you were talking to at the park?" Marshall asked, and Cela blushed.

"My friend Beau." She replied, as Marshall raised his eyebrow.

"Just friends, right?" He asked, and she blushed harder.

"Dad!" She whined, causing Marshall to laugh.

These were the moments to cherish for a lifetime...
