* 5 years later *

Five years since anything has happened. Cela had officially graduated high school last year, and Marshall couldn't be more proud of her. She was his first kid to graduate, and he couldn't wait for all of the other girls to graduate as well. Matter of fact, Lori just graduated kindergarten a couple months ago as well. Lori looks so much like Hailie, and Emi is looking more and more like I did at her age. Lanie looks like a grown woman now, which saddens Marshall and I just a bit. Little Whitney, well, she looks a bit like Kim now, but she's still our baby. She's about to begin third grade this year, and we're so proud of her.

Anyhow, Cela had decided to be an actress. Almost as soon as she put her name out there, she was casted into a show known as The Walking Dead. She was so excited because that was her favorite show. Her boyfriend was quite proud of her too, until he found out she wasn't going to let him sit at home and be lazy all his life. He was angry, and so they argued. She just so happened to be here when it happened, but none of us were home.

I had brought the girls to school, and Marshall was at the studio. Their argument had escalated, and they began to be in each other's faces, until he hit her. Right about that time though, Marshall was coming inside because he had forgot his phone. He seen what her boyfriend, Austin, did, so he proceeded to beat the shit out of him. He then called the police and told them what happened, so Austin was arrested. It's been about six months since than, and Cela got a restraining order against him.

Anyhow, Wendy still has Abel and Thomas, as well as, Lyla still having Kenny and Ellie, but in these five years, the kids have visited and we have visited them as well. Lyla and I have settled our differences, we're actually good friends now. Wendy and I, well, she found out that Jax and I had been sleeping together while they were together, and she put two and two together with Emi, realizing Jax and I were the parents of Emi, which made her upset. Once she realized Marshall and I were a better relationship than her and Jax or Jax and I had ever been, she got over the hurt and was happy to have a friendship with me. I still didn't like her too much, but I knew she took good care of the boys, so I didn't voice my dislike.

"Babe, Cela is coming to visit for the month since she's on break." Marshall said, and I nodded.

Cela had moved out when she got her job, since it was all the way in Georgia. She moved to Atlanta to be exact. She visits every break, making sure to stay as long as she can, before going back to her home. Anyhow, I walked up to her old room and made sure it was still in the shape she left it, before walking back downstairs to wait on her.

Knowing she wouldn't be home for another hour, the girls and I started making cupcakes for her. She had inherited Marshall's love of cupcakes, so whenever she comes home, we make sure to make cupcakes for her. Same with Marshall when he gets home from tour. Once we were done making cupcakes and decorating them, I heard Cela pull up. I walked into the living room, waiting for her to walk inside. I was almost stunned, when I seen a dark haired boy walk in with her.

"Mom, Dad, I missed you guys so much." She said, as she hugged us one at a time.

"We missed you too." I replied, before Marshall cleared his throat.

"Who's this?" He asked, and Cela smiled awkwardly.

"This is my boyfriend, Chandler. Chandler, this is my Dad, Marshall, and Mom, Kori." Cela said, as she introduced us.

Marshall stiffly shook Chandler's hand, before I gave Chandler an inviting hug.

"Cela, we made cupcakes for you. We know how much you like them, and I hope you do as well, Chandler." I said, and Cela grinned.

"Mom makes the best cupcakes, Chan. You've got to taste them." Cela gushed, as she grabbed his hand and pulled him to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, all her sisters were waiting on her. When she walked in, they all charged at her for hugs. Whitney and Lori even gave Chandler hugs, welcoming him to our home. I smiled down at my youngest girls, knowing they were taught well. As they ate cupcakes, I looked over at Marshall. He held a stone face, and I smiled.

"He seems nicer than Austin was. I think he's a better boyfriend than she's had before." I said, and Marshall sighed.

"I just don't want her hurt again. I love her, and I can't let someone else hurt her like that bitch did before." Marshall replied, and I nodded.

"I know, and she loves you for that but look at them. She never looked that happy with Austin." I stated, as we both looked over at Cela and Chandler.

Marshall and I walked into the kitchen, before Marshall stole a cupcake.

"Daddy! Those aren't for you!" Whitney said with a giggle, and Marshall smirked.

"But Daddy rules everything, and can have as many cupcakes as he wants." Marshall replied, before making a fake evil laugh.

Whitney and Lori were in a fit of giggles, as they watched Marshall eat the cupcake.

"These cupcakes are awesome, Mrs Mathers." Chandler said, and I smiled.

"Thank you. Oh, you can call me Kori. Mrs Mathers makes me feel old." I replied, and he nodded.

Honestly, seeing Cela so happy with this boy, it made me happier than before. I hated how much Austin had hurt her, and now, she was more happy than she had ever been before. Hopefully this boyfriend will be her forever and always...
