Marshall and I now had shared custody over all the girls. This meant if they did look into my background and found out about all the shit my family has done, they can't take the girls away because they're also under Marshall's custody, and he's got nothing wrong in his background to get the girls taken away. Anyhow, Marshall decided to take the girls and I out to lunch, which was so sweet. Today was one of the very few days he didn't decide to go to the studio. Once I knew the girls were ready, I took a quick shower and got ready as well. (Media)

"C'mon, we're going to the diner downtown." Marshall said, and I nodded.

I picked up Whitney, before the girls and I, as well as Marshall, piled into Marshall's truck. He drove us down to the diner downtown, before we helped the girls out of the truck. We went inside and grabbed a seat, before menus were brought to us and we ordered our food and drinks. Our food was brought soon enough and we began to eat.

"Have you heard anything else besides the letter?" Marshall asked, and I shook my head.

"No, and they didn't even give me their name, so I have no idea who they are. I need to know, because I have people who can look into them for me." I replied, and Marshall frowned.

"Someone in your family, right?" He asked, and I nodded.

"Yeah, one of the guys, name's Juice." I answered, and Marshall shook his head with an amused look on his face.

"What a name." He retorted, and I giggled.

"They all have weird nicknames, except like three people." I said, and Marshall snorted in amusement.

"Can we go to the park when we're done?" Hailie asked, and I bit my lip.

"Sure. It's just down the block. We're only going if you guys eat all your food though." I replied, and the girls nodded.

After about twenty more minutes, everyone was done eating. We paid for our meals, before heading back out to the truck. Marshall drove down the block, before we arrived at the park. The girls ran out of the truck to the park, as I carried Whitney and Marshall pushed her stroller. We sat down on a bench, as Whitney slept on my chest, and he and I chatted while watching the girls play and run around.

While we were sitting there, I noticed a girl was sitting by a tree, watching the girls. I skimmed over the park, not seeing any other kids that could be hers. I turned back towards her sharply, glaring at the woman as she smirked. I laid Whitney in the stroller, catching Marshall's attention.

"What's wrong?" He asked, and before I could point the girl out, she was already walking towards us.

"That bitch is watching our girls. She doesn't have any kids." I whispered sharply, causing Marshall's face to harden.

"Kori Winston, been a while since you've been in Charming, huh?" She asked rhetorically, and I glared.

"Who the hell are you?!" I spat, and she smirked.

"Oh, I thought you'd remember me, I'm Meghan Pope. Ya know, someone you should be afraid of." She stated, and I bit my lip.

Meghan Pope, she was the second daughter to Damon Pope. Though he didn't really claim her as his, she still felt she could pull the "Daddy Card" on me. I shook my head with a smirk as well.

"Too bad Pope doesn't give a shit about you." I retorted, as I stood in front of her.

"You don't know what you're talking about." She argued, before pushing me.

"Oh, really? Than why are you so far away from Cali, huh? If he cared, he'd keep you with him like he does your sister." I stated, before she smacked me in the face.

Blood was what I tasted, but I just smirked.

"Hey!" Marshall exclaimed, as he jumped up.

Nobody could react, before I threw my fist into her face. She stumbled back, trying to regain her composure. She got in a couple hits, before I elbowed her in the face, breaking her nose. I could hear Whitney crying, as were the girls, as Marshall tried to calm them down. The moment my attention wasn't on her, she pulled out her pocket knife and stabbed me in the thigh. I screamed in pain, as I fell to the ground. I didn't know how deep it was, but I couldn't pull it out on my own. I growled angrily, as tears fell down my face. I quickly got up, before punching her a few more times, until she was on the ground and I was over her.

"Don't you dare come near me or my family again. Do you understand me?!" I spat, feeling the pain in my leg start to numb.

"Y-yes." She cried, before I pulled her face near mine.

"Don't think about going to the police. I'll kill you before you could even blink. Do you nderstand me?!" I spat in a whisper, and she nodded quickly.

"B-bar fight." She stuttered, and I nodded with an evil smile.

I could barely move my leg, as I sat on the ground and tried to pull the knife out I my leg. Tears came down my face as I grabbed the knife.

"Let me do it." Marshall said, as he knelt down beside me.

"Momma, are you okay?" Cela asked, and I nodded.

"I'll be okay, as long as you girls are okay." I replied, before they took turns hugging me.

"Ready?" Marshall asked, and I nodded slowly.

I held my breath, as Marshall grabbed the knife. He counted to three, before yanking it out. I screamed, before he took off his shirt and wrapped it around my leg.

"You'll be okay. You're okay. I'm so sorry." Marshall whispered, as he held me to his chest.

"Let's just go." I said, and he nodded.

He helped me up, before having the girls gather their things. Cela pushed the stroller, as Marshall helped me walk. I heard Whitney fussing, before I looked down and seen she was reaching towards me.

"Whit, she can't carry you. She's hurt baby." Marshall said, but Whitney kept fussing.

"Mama!" She cried, causing me to gasp.

"Her first word." I whispered, and looked at Marshall, who had a small smile on his face.

"Mama!" She exclaimed again, and I breathed in deeply to try to get my leg to stop hurting.

"Alright." I said, before going to pick her up.

"No, you're hurt and can barely walk. I need to get you to the hospital." Marshall stated, and I shook my head with a light smile.

"Whit wants me. I'll be okay. I don't want to go to the hospital. I'll sew it up myself." I replied, and Marshall sighed irritated.

"Fine, but I'll help you. You've lost too much blood for you to do it yourself." Marshall said, and I smiled.

At this moment, I knew I loved Marshall. I loved my family, way more than anything else in the world. Today I fought for my family, and I didn't think of the consequences. I didn't think about myself, because I'm nothing without them...
