Third pov
Sean watched as his best friend slept on the couch, her cast resting on her stomach. She'd regained some color after the crash, no longer looking like a ghost. Well, her hair was still white but it had always been. After the meeting with Kamata she spent most of the next two weeks sleeping.
The memory of when she got a concussion as a kid made it's way to the front of his mind.
Elise had fallen out of a tree while they were playing, hit her head prett bad, she ended up having to go home. He and his mother went to check on her later that night as the nanny hadn't been able to come. She'd been so sick that his mother refused to let her stay at home and brought her to their apartment.
It took a week for her to get better and when the nanny came to get her she had cried and screamed. She'd kicked and clawed until the nanny didn't want to deal with her and left her with Sean and his mom.
It was one of the two times she had let herself be vulnerable around people. At least as far as Sean had witnessed.
Sean wasn't stupid, he knew she'd fallen for Han, even if she didn't realize it herself. She needed someone that would let her be herself while still knowing when to hold her back from doing something stupid. She needed to be able to rely on someone else, to be ably to rely on more than him.
She'd gotten that when they moved to Japan. Just the fact that she was willing to take a nap on the couch showed that she trusted them. She would never had done that before.
She hates being vulnerable.
Since i have been gone for so long, you get to hear some of Sean's thoughts on this. I am going to update more, i promise. I just have to rewatch the movie first.
Vote and comment, it keeps me motivated :)
