Third pov
Elise went into the apartment alone.
It was surprisingly well kept for her not having used it in half a year.
She looked through her wardrobe and found a bag in the back of it that she filled with clothes. T-shirts, long sleeved shirts, pants, a pair of shorts, underwear.
Once she was done she looked around the rest of her apartment.
She liked the place, it felt like home.
(Probably because it is but, well, you get the point.)
She found a book on the livingroom table that she decided to grab then went into the kitchen part.
Her kitchen was empty of any food thankfully. She didn't feel like cleaning rotting food anytime soon.
Something on the counter stopped her.
There was a grey hoodie neatly folded and a packet of gummy bears on top.
And there was a note too.
Stay safe sunshine
She took the note.
"Smile sunshine."
She shook her head clear of the voice and put the hoodie and gummy bears in her bag too. The note ended up in her pocket.
After that she locked up and went out to where Sean was waiting.
"Got everythin'?"
Elise nodded. "Yeah." She tossed the bag into the back of the car. "Hey, have you guys been cleaning my apartment? It looks really clean for not having been used."
Sean nodded. "Yeah, Reiko figured it'd be nicer for you to go back to somethin not covered in dust."
"I definitely do appreciate it." Even if she doubted that it was Reiko that cleaned it.
They drove through the city.
Elise had a feeling it would look absolutely beautiful at night.
They reached an open garage in a more silent part of the city. Less people moving around.
She could see Earl and Reiko looking a car over and farther in she could see a guy she knows (thanks to Twinkie) is called Tosh.
As soon as the two of them got out of the car Elise was in a courtesy of Reiko.
"I'm so happy you're here! How are you feeling? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Need anything?"
Elise couldn't help but laugh at the onslaught of questions. "I'm fine, though I could go for something to drink."
And with that she was dragged of by the tiny girl that probably could get into wrestling if she felt like it.
(Seriously, Reiko is even smaller than her and super strong.
What do they feed her??)
"Here, watch you step, these stairs are a bit narrow."
The warning came just in time as they were going up a set of stairs that Elise had a feeling wasn't used often.
At the top of the stairs they reached a kitchen.
There was already someone in there.
"Hi Han!" Reiko chirped as she was almost skipping her way to the fridge.
"Hi Reiko."
Elise felt her heart skip a beat when she saw him. Not in a bad way.
She just felt so damn happy about it.
