Chapter 21 Drugged

Third pov

When Elise finally came back to consciousness she felt a pounding in her head, and damn if it didn't hurt. Everything felt so heavy. Even her breathing.

She felt her limbs with her eyes still closed.

Legs. Tied.
Arms. Unbroken one tied.

And last, her torso. Tied.

What the hell had happened? The last thing she could remember was the guy across the street. She just couldn't wrap her head around why he'd looked familiar. It irked her and the more she thought about it the more her head pounded.

"I see you're awake." The same man she had seen across the street watched her from the other side of the room.

She wanted to lift her head, she really did, but it felt all fuzzy and wrong.

"It's no use." Was all the man said before she felt herself slipping away again.

Time skip

Elise felt pain all over as she woke the next time she woke. She would guess because the chair she was tied to had tipped and she hit the ground. Hard. The cast on her arm felt like it had cracked.

The room was empty this time. She wasn't sure if that was good or bad.

The floor felt far from clean on her cheek as she tried to look around. Not that looking around did her much help from the floor.

Tokyo

The whole gang were worried out of their minds as Elise hadn't returned after talking to Takashi. It only got worse when they found out he didn't know where she was either. While Sean was visibly freaking out more, Han kept his worry quiet.

Sean knew his best friend. He knew her better than anyone. Just disappearing without a word isn't something she would do. She wouldn't do it five years ago and she wouldn't do it now. Much less with a still healing arm.

What the Tokyo team didn't know was that another family was on their way with bad news.
