Third pov
Sean and Twinkie were considering blackmailing Han into visiting Elise at the hospital.
Problem.
They don't have anything to blackmail him with.
"One visit. We're just asking for one visit." Twinkie grumbled.
"If E remembered, she'd be draggin his ass to the hospital herself." Sean added.
"That's damn right." Twinkie agreed.
The two of them wondered how one person could be so stubborn. Then they remembered who said stubborn guy was dating and they weren't that surprised anymore.
"How's it going?" Earl asked as he sat on one of the bar chairs.
"We told him about Twinkie talking with E." Sean started.
Twinkie finished. "He just nodded and went to take a nap."
"And? Maybe he's going later?" Earl said.
"I told him monday."
Earl winced. It was Wednesday now.
"Well, what did Elise say about him visiting?"
"She's okay with it as long as he wants to visit."
Reiko had been listening to them talking. She knew Han had left the room after Twinkie telling him that Elise remembers him, even just a little.
She wasn't sold on his act though.
All of them, Sean and Elise included, had been picked up one way or another and been brought into the team.
The thing that most never realized was that Han cared for all of them in his own way. He wasn't very vocal about it, instead opting for the silent things.
Letting Twinkie and Sean live at the garage, letting her and Earl work with the cars and giving them a safe space, making damn sure that no one underage can get even a drop of alcohol, giving Elise a safe space to exist in.
It's the silent steady support he gives them that shows he cares.
Reiko has a feeling that he's holding off on visiting Elise until she's a bit more steady on her feet. That he's going to take it her pace, and her pace isn't the same as theirs.
The issue is that for the last few months Han has slowly become a bit withdrawn and it worries them.

"Alright, miss Jason. Everything looks good and we're discharging you tomorrow." The doctor told her. "Do you have anyone that can help you the first few days?"
"Yeah."
"Then I'll let you call them."
Once she was alone she picked up her phone and started flipping through contacts.
She skipped past Twinkie, Reiko and Earl.
Then she reached Sean and pressed the call button.
"Hey E, need anything?"
"Not right now. Hey, I'm being discharged tomorrow. Um, is that offer of a bed still open?"
She could hear movement in the background.
"It is. Do you want me to pick you up?"
"Yes please."
"Then I'll do that. You wanna stop by your apartment first?"
Elise thinks it over. "Yeah, that'd be good."

Being let out of the hospital was a relief and Elise found Sean waiting for her in a red evo.
The car knowledge was something that apparently had been too ingrained in her memory for the accident to do much damage to it.
"You ready?"
Sean's texas accent had been very familiar when she woke up. And right now it's a familiarity that she appreciates.
"To leave the sterile place I've called home for six months? Hell yeah."
They laughed together as she got into the car with her bag.
"Next stop, your apartment. After that there's some people that wanna say hi to ya."
Do you guys want to see Takashi and his uncle? Maybe more Neela? Anyone else?
Vote and comment, it keeps me motivated :)
