Third pov
Brian and Elise met up with Rome, Tej and Han in another car and went to where Dom was and where Letty and Ramsey was trying to avoid being shot.
They arrived just in time to see Dom's car smash against the destroyed building.
Elise stared in horror while everyone ran for the sight. If Han hadn't pulled her with she doubted she could have moved.
It felt unreal. From the moment she met the man he'd never registered as someone that could die.
She took Han's hand knowing he wasn't really much for showing sadness.
She let out a short, relieved laugh as Dominic Toretto opened his eyes and she felt Han relax.
Time skip
Going home felt like a relief. Even if the bad memories remained. She spent the first few days always in someone's company. She didn't want to be alone. She didn't want to be vulnerable.
And she didn't need to.
Her family loved her anyway.
Even her father to some extent. She'd opened the necklace to see the picture. It was of her parents and her. All three of them smiling.
