Third pov
Elise fell asleep halfway through the movie.
Han is honestly surprised she lasted that long. It wasn't exactly the most interesting movie in the world, and she'd looked dead on her feet in the kitchen.
He turned the movie off and picked her up.
Carrying her to her bed took a little time since he was doing his best not to trip while walking in relative darkness.
Once she was safe in her bed he went to go to bed himself.

Time skip
There was distant chatter when she woke up curled in her comforter.
The last thing that she could remember was watching a movie with Han. It wasn't a very good movie but it was enough to fall asleep to. She hadn't expected him to carry her to her bed though.
As she sat up she stretched, happy to hear a satisfying pop from her back.
After a quick change of clothes (Black jeans, a black button up shirt and her shoes) she climbed out of the pod-thingy (she really needed to find out what they're named).
The garage was separeted from the bunks.
Thankfully it was easy to find the others. "Thank you muscle memory." She mumbled.
Twinkie and Sean were the only ones in the room working on a car.
Sean looked up when he heard her. "Mornin', there's food in the kitchen."
Elise was happy that he told her as she wasn't really feeling like talking at the moment. She just gave him a nod then moved for the food.
Time skip (a few days)
Elise sat leaning against the rails looking down on where there was a few people working on cars that she knew was to be picked up in the afternoon.
Earl had offered to let her help with one of them but she hadn't felt like it.
Instead she'd found a corner to curl up in and watch the people around her.
She absentmindedly rubbed her arms when it got a little colder, her fingers finding a scar on one of her arms.
A bullet... A loud bang and a crashing noise, uncaring eyes as someone hits their car... "HAN!"
She's sweating bullets despite the flash only being a few seconds at most.
What the hell was that?

Neela entered the garage just as Elise rushed past her. "Huh?"
Sean and Earl were both watching were Elise had dissapeared to with concerned looks.
"What was that about?"
Earl shrugged. "She said something about going to the store and almost ran out." He answered.
Sean kissed the top of his girlfriend's head. "She looked pretty freaked out..."
Neela could only agree.
After the crash, Elise had been a lot like herself, just a bit more on guard and tired, but she hadn't looked like she'd seen a ghost.
"I'm sure she'll be fine. She's tough." Was all she said.

Time skipTakashi was waiting on the hood of his car when Han showed up.
The two hadn't really talked since the night in the garage that ended with Elise in the hospital.
"You wanted to talk."
Han doesn't sound angry or accusing or anything like that. He sounds curious.
"Remember the group that's been trying to get pieces of this territory?"
"Yeah, why?" Han started eating on some candy he'd had with him.
"They've started doing their best to force their way in. We're keeping watch but they have people in the city." Takashi wondered how to best break the news.
"Does Kamata know you're telling me this?" Han asked.
"He does. He gave me the information."
Han made a low humming noise and leaned against the hood of Takashi's car.
It felt like it used to when they were still friends. A time that felt like decades ago.
"And here I thought he wouldn't mind seeing someone get rid of me."
Takashi can hear the underlying question.
It's true that his uncle isn't exactly fond of Han. Not after the shit that the man had pulled. But he did have a surprising amount of respect for the woman he was currently dating.
"He wouldn't mind as far as I know." Takashi admitted. "But he has a good amount of respect for Elise."
Han froze.
"Did you know that she approached him with no visible fear, and when he asked her what happened to her arm, instead of saying what happened, she went with vague truths so I wouldn't be punished?"
Han hadn't known that. It was obvious just looking at him. They'd been friends for a few years and Takashi could actually see through most bullshit from the older man.
"She didn't talk about it. Neither did Sean." Han answered. "DK, what does this have to do with her?"
He turned to face Han. "You've pissed off a lot of people that have kept their eyes on you the last few years. They've seen her Han, and they're interested."
PLEASE leave a comment and tell me what you think.
Do you think Han will tell Elise?
Vote and comment, it keeps me motivated :)
