Third pov

Han knows how bad it is if the people he's pissed of have set their sights on Elise.

He also knows it's his fault.

"Who's in the area?"

"Kane and Satoshi."

Han swore lowly and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Where is she now, Han?"

Han had absolutely no idea.

Elise went where she felt like it. She'd always done that. That hadn't changed just because she'd become an amnesiac.

Takashi sighed. "I'll keep an eye on her if I see her. But I'm saying this as someone who used to be your friend, look out for her. Neither of us wants them to get to her."

There'd been an unspoken tension between that was understandable. Han knew that was at least half his fault. He'd gone behind his back and skimmed money of Kamata's buisness, putting Takashi in a shitty situation while simultaneously stabbing him in the back.

The thing was, Han really hadn't cared when he started. He'd just lost Giselle and felt empty. He hadn't really known what to do.

Befriending Takashi, the little team he'd gathered, Sean, Elise....

None of them had been a part of whatever plan he'd had. They just showed up one day and made places for themselves in his life.

"See you around, Han."

**************************************************************

Elise finds the car three weeks after coming to the garage.

It's front is completely wrecked and the driver side door looks like it's been pushed in befire being cut open.

There's a feeling of her chest being crushed when she steps closer.

The car looks like it's just been dumped there.

Considering the blood splatters inside the car she's more than likely right.

It's her blood.

It's her car.

Another car came where she couldn't see.

She goes even closer, eyes peering into the car.

There's a few yen coins in the glove compartment, she sees a stained sweater in the back but what turns her stomach is the clumps of hair on the floor and stuck on the steering wheel.

She knows she has a few barely noticable scars under the hair that had grown out again.

There's screeching tires in her ears and she grips the door until her knuckles turn white.

"E?"

Sean is standing beside her when she opens her eyes.

"Wanna talk 'bout it?"

She shrugs.

She hears some of the scrap metal parts moving as her longest friend sits down.

"Do you wanna know what happened?"

She nods, head reasting against the car door.

She hears him take a deep breath before talking. "You were coming home, you'd been out to visit a friend. You called me on the way, but when I picked up, there was just the sounds of cars crashing into each other."

For what feels like a long while they're quiet.

Elise's head is hurting, and her chest and her arm.

"I- was I alone?"

The question has been grating on her since she started dreaming, started hearing the memories.

"What'd you mean?" Sean asks curiously.

She turns around and sits on the ground resting against the car. "There's flashes sometimes... I hear things, see things flash before me. They're always fast and not much, usually at least."

Sean nodded slowly in a somewhat understanding manner. "You were alone in the last crash."

*******************************************************************

Sean knows the question is coming.

"I've been in more than one?" Elise looks like she's about to cry, either from hysteria or exhaustion.

"Yeah, Han was with ya in the first one. You broke your arm."

Elise rubs the spot where he knows the bone had been sticking out of her arm. "Someone was chasing us?"

He nods.

There's a small hopeful feeling in his chest that's mixing together with the fact that of all the shit she had to remember, it was that night.

"I-" She takes a deep breath, head resting against the mangled car behind her. "Thanks. For being honest."

"It's alright. I've never lied to ya before, why start now?" He answered.

It's shorter than i wanted but things are picking up now.

I just want to clarify some things that might come off as unclear

1. Kamata finds Elise amusing/impressive. He has at least some degree of respect for her.

2. Elise has short and chaotic dreams involving both car crashes, which is pulling some memories of people with them. She remembers both crashes to a certain point but they've kinda bled together.

3. Takashi has not visited Elise.

4. The Toretto team doesn't know anything yet.

5. While she wants to remember, she's also a bit afraid of it as well.

ALSO! I'm in no way a medical professional. Take my knowledge on amnesia with a grain of salt.

Vote and comment, it keeps me motivated :)
