Third pov
Elise walked up the stairs.
When she reached the top of the roof she saw Takashi leaning against the reiling. "Figured I'd see you here."
His head whipped around, eyes widening as he saw her. "Elise? What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to see if you were okay." She leaned against the reiling beside him. "You must've hit your head at least when your car went off the cliff.
He turned his head away and nodded. "I'm fine. Does your arm hurt?"
Elise shook her head. "Not so much anymore. It hurt worse when I just got the cast. Now it's just annyoing. I'm not allowed to drive and everyone is constantly worried."
Takashi watched her out of the corner of his eye.
"I meant it you know, what I wrote." She referred to the note she had slipped him. "I forgive you. People need to have others in their corner, and I don't think you've had that. I don't like what you did, but I think you can be a better person."
Time skip
She left Takashi to think things over on the roof, like he'd done before she came there.
When she got down on street level and looked around a bald man accross the street caught her attention. He was staring straight at her with an uncomfortable intensity.
She missed the person behind her and a pinch in her neck sent her to the ground.
