The drive to the skate park is an easy route for me with the surroundings of campus beginning to become a lot more familiar. We drive in silence although I did hear Rose comment on my slow driving a few times, I chose to ignore. Driving carefully and slowly is far more safe than driving fast and trying to hurry your away around the place. "I'm not staying long so don't wander off on me" I warn Rose as we get out the car, she just laughs and leads the way to the shack.

My heart pounds as we wait in the queue, I really hope Colby isn't serving. Although I can't see him over the crowd of people in front of us. "I will have a cheese burger, all the sauce you can imagine on." I smile at the girl behind her counter that answered all my prayers, "Chilli fries and a bottle of water" I reach into my purse to find money, "Make that two waters" Roselyn adds, once we pay and receive our food we begin to walk to the skate park.

"So are you free for a therapy session tomorrow morning?" I ask, placing a fry into my mouth, "Yep. I actually don't have any classes on a Wednesday" I nod. I see Jake and a few others in the distance but they all seem preoccupied standing around some very expensive cars, I wave to him before taking a seat on the benches with Rose to finish eating. We make small talk about classes and she tells me more about Kendall. "Sorry that took longer than expected" Jake's voice sounds as he takes a seat beside us.

"No problem. What was that anyway?" I point towards the crowd of cars before placing my hand back into my lap, "Oh, some drug dealer kid was trying to claim one of those cars as his, uh, Corey? From the party?" I nod, "Yeah I remember him." He nods, "Yeah apparently he owes the druggie money but instead he bought that lambo" my mouth parts as I look back at the crowd before looking away with a sigh.

"Drama" Roselyn chirps and I smile towards her. "Yeah, You guys should stay away from him. He's been hanging around a lot lately, claiming everyone owes him money. He's an idiot" Jake laughs, "Who?" I frown slightly, "Oh sorry, Brennen Taylor?" my heart sinks as I think back to my encounter at the laundrette, "Yeah I know him" Jake seems confused but doesn't question it, "Let's go down towards the soccer pitches, everyone else is heading there" He leads the way and I follow.

The pitches take up quite a big part of the park, I quite like this area. There are different activities for all people, the skatepark, soccer, the huge carpark for people to scoot around in their fancy cars. Not to mention the mass amount of land for walks. "Hey!" A female voice greets us taking me out of my thoughts. "Kat" I smile, if she's here that means Sam must be somewhere, and probably Colby too. "Thank god some other girls are here now, they're kicking that ball around and I gotta tell ya, not as entertaining as I thought" She laughs and I smile, we take a seat on the grass, "I'm going to join in" Jake tells us and then leaves.

"Why does he keep inviting you?" Rose whispers, I look at her shrugging, "No clue" Kat lifts a brow, "Well he's obviously interested in you. Despite having a girlfriend, he's not that loyal" She laughs and I look at her, "What do you mean?" I drag my fingers through the grass, "He's been caught with multiple girls at parties" I look away, "Fuck boy" She mumbles and I laugh quietly. I have noticed Jake has been inviting me out quite a bit considering I would rather our friendship be revolved around my classes. But I don't believe he's wanting more than friendship from me.

"Watch out!" A male voice sounds, Rose and Kat squeal, moving to the side. Although my reflexes have failed me and the ball hits me right on the forehead sending me backwards. "Aliyah!" I hear the voice again, I open my eyes to see the blue skies as the voice plays in my head, Colby. "You ok?" He asks as he puts his hand out to help me sit up. I avoid his hand and push myself up, standing to my feet. "Careful" He mutters, grabbing my elbow. "Think she's going to need an icepack on that" Sam comments and I shake Colby's hand from me, "I'm fine" I smile awkwardly, "No i'll take you to the campus nurse office. They might not be there but they give us access for emergencies" Colby says. I shake my head, "Fine. You take my car" I groan, handing him my bag and leading the way.

"I'll drive you back if you want Rose" I hear Kat say, I continue to walk, holding my head.

"I said I was sorry you know" Colby finally breaks the silence as we get inside the car and he reverses out the carpark. I laugh quietly, looking out the window with my hand on my head. "Actually you didn't". Colby stays quiet but I can hear him sigh, he's been defeated.

"Ok so I think there is a freezer box just at the doors" Colby tells me, he's yet again gripping onto my elbow which I can't even be bothered to retaliate from. Once I find the icepack I place it onto my head which doesn't seem to have swollen but is a little red. "Are you sure you're ok? Don't need to see a doctor for a concussion or anything" He asks and I shake my head, "I think I'm ok. Thank you" I smile slightly at him and he exchanges one, "I'll drive you round to the dorms and park your car up for you" I nod, deciding it's probably for the best just now.

"Thanks again" I comment as I take a seat on my bed and Colby places my car keys and bag onto my desk. "Hey I shouldn't have kicked the ball at your face" He jokes and I roll my eyes, removing the icepack from my forehead, Colby moves to stand in front of me. I look away as he exams my forehead with his index finger. "Not swollen. You'll live" I nod, "Yep" I look up at his blue eyes and he looks away, his cheeks flushing. I clear my throat as he steps back, turning to the door.

"So I should head back" He tells me, "Uh sure. But hey Colby, I spoke to a Brennen Tay-" He cuts me off by turning around and saying, "You did?" He asks frantically and I frown slightly, "Yeah he asked me if I knew why you were bulk buying from him at the laundrette" I shrug and he shakes his head, "He was on campus?" he scoffs which causes my heartbeat to quicken. "Was he not suppose to be?" I turn to him, "No he's not even a college student" He laughs, "The guy is toxic Aliyah. Whatever you do, do not go near him again. I'll clear this up" He tells me and I look away.

"You can't tell me what to do y'know" Maybe my comments are not the smartest right now with my injury and the fact Colby went from normal to anxious real quick. "Aliyah. This isn't a joke. The guy is dangerous" He steps forward to me again, this time frowning. I nod quickly, "Ok OK. Avoid him, got it".

Before Colby walks out the door he turns to me, our eyes meet and I really want to look away. "I'll look after you Aliyah, y'know that right?" He asks softly, my heart sinks, "Yeah." I breath and with that he's out the door.
