This can't be happening. I might be dreaming. Tama, this is just a bad dream. I need to wake up.

"Sorry?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Laura.

Tears we're running from her eyes down to her cheeks. She's sobbing hard.

Dahan dahang kumawala sa hawak ko si Laura at naglakad sya patungo kay Papa. Papa was only there standing and looking at us sadly.

"Daddy naman e. H-How? P-Paano mo nagawa samin to ni m-mommy? And of all people, why her? W-why Avi? S-she's my bestfriend!"

Nahirapan akong lumunok habang pinapanood ko si Laura na sinusuntok si Papa sa kabila nang panghihina nya. Kumikirot ang puso ko habang nakikita ko silang dalawa.

So, it was me? I am the girl that she's hunting ever since. The girl that ruined their family. It was me? The unwanted black sheep in this story.

"Daddy! Ano? Answer me! Niloloko mo kami ni mommy! All along I was living for you to be proud of me,but you are the one who dissapointed us!" Laura shouted at the top of her lungs.

"I-it's just a mistake. One night of mistake Lau. Please listen. I love your mom."

Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko. I can feel the physical pain from it. It's as if, papa was slapping me the truth. I deserve to be hidden because I am not a girl to be proud of.

A tear escaped in my eyes. I immediately wiped it of. I looked away and walked back and forth. I need to breathe. I need to be strong.

"Avi." Drice called me. I looked at him beside me and I cannot control myself anymore. I threw myself to him and hugged him tight.

"I didn't k-know. I-I'm sorry. I'm s-sorry." humihikbing bulong ko kay Drice.

"Shh." pang aalu nya habang niyayakap ako.

I just hope that he'll still accept me inspite of being an illegitimate child.

"I...I h-hate you!"

Bumaling ako kay Laura nang mapaupo sya sa panghihina. Sinalo sya ni Rem at inakay muli patayo.

"I love you Lau. Mahal kita anak. Mahal ko kayo ng mommy mo." nagsusumamong bulong ni Papa habang pilit hinahawakan si Laura.

Napapikit ako at mas lalo kong ibinaon ang mukha ko sa dibdib ni Drice. I love you too Papa. Sana marinig ko din yang sabihin mo sa amin ni Mama.

"U-Uuwi na ako." Laura said.

Kumalas ako ng yakap kay Drice at pinagmasdan ko si Laura. She really looks hurt.

Humakbang ako papalapit sa kanya. I want to talk to her atleast. Hindi ko alam na ganito. I didn't know that she's my father's real daughter.

I bit my lower lip when she steps back. A sudden pain attacked my heart.

"Rem,let's go." Laura said coldly without even glancing at me.

Rem gave us an apologetic look before following Laura. Papa followed them too, leaving me here with Drice, holding my hand.

Nanatili ang titig ko sa kanila habang pasakay sila ng elevator. Papa never look back as if he forgot about me.

Ofcourse he will. The legal daughter first before the mistaken one.

Kinagat ko ang pang ibabang labi ko. Laura was hurt, i know it. Papa was hurt too, and I also know it. I am hurt too, I hope they also know it.

Kumirot ang puso ko sa ideyang ito na nga ata ang katapusan ng sayang naramdaman ko. Happiness in this world is hard to find, and once you have it, it will be stolen at you without your permission.
