I stare at the gate of Alexandria, wondering if this was real. The gate opens and I see a nervous guy on the other side. "Come on in, guys." We walk inside and I stick close to my Mom and Shawn. "Before we take this any further, I need you all to turn over your weapons. Stay, you hand them over."

"We don't know if we want to stay."

"It's fine, Nicholas."

"If we were gonna use them, we would have started already."

"Let them talk to Deanna first."

"Who's Deanna?" Abraham asks and Aaron looks at him. "She knows everything you'd want to know about this place. Rick, why don't you start?" I hear a walker snarling and Rick nods. "Sasha." She turns around holding up her gun, she aims, then fires, hitting the walker in the head. "It's a good thing we're here."

After the interviews we go and hand in our weapons. I put my pistol on the cart. "They're still your guns. You can check them out whenever you go beyond the wall. But inside here, we store them for safety," the woman, Olivia said.

I watch as Carol "struggles" to pull her gun strap over her head. She then hesitantly places it on the cart. "Should have brought another bin."

Soon we are shown to our houses. I stare up at them. I quickly go in and look around. Carl turns on the sink and water comes out. He smiles and I call dibs on showering first. I head up the stairs and after finding the bathroom, I discard my dirty and bloody clothing.

I open the crystal shower door and turn on the water. I place my hand under until it's warm and then step inside. I stick my face under the water, rubbing the dirt and other stuff off. I slick my hair back and start rubbing grit and dirt off my body.

It feels so nice to be clean again, though I know it won't last. After I'm done I turn the water off and then step out. I go over and wipe the condensation off the mirror to look at my reflection. My eyes wander to the scar on my shoulder, where Lizzie had stabbed me.

I brush my finger over the white skin and sigh. Just another to add to the collection. I see a brush and run it through my hair, getting rid of the knots.

The door opens and I turn to see Carl come in only to immediately cover his eyes. "Oh, come on, Carl," I say rolling my eyes at his childishness. "I'm so sorry, I thought--"

"What? That after just getting out of the shower I'd be fully clothed?"

"I'm really sorry."

"Stop apologizing you've done nothing wrong. Have you never seen the female body before?"

"Um, not like that."

"Why are you in here, Carl?"

"Deanne had some clothes sent over and Maggie sent me up here to give them to you." I look at him as he just stands there. I sigh before walking over to him. "Are you going to hand them over?" He nods and only now do I realize he dropped them in shock when he saw me, because he crouches down to retrieve them from the floor.

After grabbing them he holds them out to me. "Uh, here." I take them and laugh. "Thanks, Carl." He nods before turning around and closing the door behind him. I pull on the thin cotton long sleeve shirt and then the jeans. Only after putting on the shirt did I realize there's no bra.

I look down not really wanting to put mine back on. I shake my head looking back at my reflection. I decided that the shirt isn't see-through so I'm good. I pick my clothes up and put them in the hamper and then I open the door.
