I kneel on the floor of the bathroom puking into the toilet. I've been feeling sick for the last two days and it isn't going away. I hear knocking on the door. "Kristina, it's me, Bertie." I push myself off the floor, flush the toilet, and open the door.

"Hello, uh, Maggie told me that you haven't been feeling well so I made something that should help settle your stomach." She holds a basket out to me and I take it. "Thanks, Bertie, that's so nice of you."

"I'm happy to do it. Although if I didn't know any better I'd say you were pregnant." I freeze when she says that, my blood running cold. "What?"

"Oh, don't worry I'm sure it's just a stomach bug, but if it persists I suggest you take a test. Dr. Carson might have some." No, not again! "Um, thanks Bertie I'm sure it is just a bug." She nods and leaves. I set the basket down and run out of the trailer, after grabbing my jacket, gun, and knife.

I can't wait to see if I'll still be throwing up in a few days from now, but I can't go to doctor Carson, I can't risk him telling someone. I almost choke when I realize something. I haven't been with Daryl in months, there's only one person that could have caused this.

I think I'm going to be sick again. "Mom!" I turn and see Kara coming over. "What is it, honey?"

"Maggie and I are going to get a berry bush so we can plant it in here. Want to come?"

"Oh no, Sweetheart, I'm going to make a trip to Alexandria."

"Really? Can I go? Please I'd like to see Tessa and Jamie again." I can't help but smile slightly. "Of course. Hey, why don't you go ask Dean if he wants to come, okay? I'm sure he'd like to see them again too." She smiles and rushes away.

"You're going to Alexandria?" I turn around at the sound of his southern drawl. "Yeah, I am, Daryl."

"Why?" He walks over to me and I force myself not to glance away. "I'm just going to visit Tara and see if she needs help with anything. Denise taught her a few things but it's just a precaution."

"Mind if I tag along? Need to talk to Rick." I so badly want to scream no but I feel like he already suspects that somethings wrong, I can't. "I wouldn't mind. But no fighting between you and Dean." I was only half-serious. Daryl scoffs and shakes his head.

"Fight with the guy you slept with? Why would you think that." I sigh as he brushes past me, going over to where Jesus is, probably to ask if we can borrow his car.

Kara reappears and I smile down at her. "Hey, all set?"

"Yeah, Maggie doesn't mind. And Dean says he'd love to come."

"Good." I turn and see Jesus handing over the car keys. "Dean, come on!" I turn as Kara calls and see Dean coming our way. "Hey, glad you could join us."

"Yeah, me too." Daryl comes back over, keys jingling. "Let's go." He says and we nod following him to the car, I'm in the passenger seat, Daryl beside me, and Kara and Dean in the backseat. After Kal opens the gates we drive out.

After a few miles of silence, I look over at Daryl. "Daryl, are we okay?" I say it low enough so Kara can't hear. "Why wouldn't we be?"

"I don't know, but we've barely talked at all since we got here from the Kingdom."

"We're okay, Kris. It's gonna just take some time before things feel normal again." I nod and look back to the road. If Daryl finds out I'm pregnant it's going to take even longer. I look in the rearview mirror and see Dean and Kara having their own conversation. I smile and look back to the road.
