" D-daddy? " I feel tears prick my eyes.
The man in front of me looks at me confused for a second. My father's eyes and gaze soften. " Aura? "
I run to the glass. " Daddy! " I say happily. I burst out crying. I fall on my knees in front of the glass, and put my head in my hands.
My dad kneels down in front of me. The only thing separating us is the glass. " Shh. Aura It's okay. " He says happiness in his voice.
I look up but tears blur my vision. " I-I missed y-you s-so much! " I say in between sobs.
" I missed you too sweetheart. Look at you! Your all grown up! " I see his eyes gloss over.
" I thought, I thought something bad h-happened! I thought you got hurt, or they did something to you! I missed you so much, daddy. " I say trying to control my tears of happiness and sadness.
" I missed you too. " A tear escapes his eye. " How have you been? Wait, what are you doing here? "
" I-I'm fine. I'm here with the Avengers. I don't really like living with them, dad. " I say wiping my tears away.
My dad's smile turns into a frown. " Did they do that to you? " He asks pointing to my black eye and cheek. He growls. " I'm gonna kill Tho-"
I shake my head. " These two men did it. We wer-"
Dad growls. " I'll kill them! I'll kill those bloody men! " His eyes are a fierce green.
" Y-you can't. "
" Why? " He asks harshly.
I flinch a little, and his facial expression softens. " B-Because, I-I already did. "
" What? " He asks shocked.
I start to cry again. " I didn't mean to daddy, They were hurting me, and I somehow made two tornadoes that killed them. One was frozen, and the other one was burned to death. I didn't mean to daddy! I honestly didn't! "
My dad smiles sadly. " It's okay honey. You didn't know. They were hurting you. It's okay. I'm so sorry Aura. I am so sorry I wasn't there for you. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you, and I'm sorry Thor ended up taking you. " He says guiltily.
I shake my head and look up him. " You don't need to be sorry. You tried to get to me. You tried to stop him. "
I smile up at him and wipe my tears away. " I really missed you, daddy. "
He smiles too. " Me to kid. Me to. I missed you more than anything. "
" Anything? Even more than chocolate cake? " I ask raising an eyebrow. He loves chocolate cake.
He smiles and nods. " More than chocolate cake. "
I sigh and sit down on the floor facing him.
" Why don't you like living with...Them? " Dad asks.
" They all have families, and I, I don't. I mean, I have you, but your not there. They try to include me in things with them, but I don't fit in. I'm like a black swan. I don't belong. "
Dad frowns a little. " I'm sorry. "
" It's okay. I just wish I was with you. I want to be with you more than anything dad. I feel like an outsider when I'm with them. It hurts me every time I see one of the Avengers hug their kids. It reminds me of the day I was taken from you. "
Dad gives a sad smile. " Well, we're here now. "
We spent the next few hours laughing and getting to know each other again.
