RECAP :
" You were fine without your dad before. You'll be fine without him now. "
" I want to see my dad. "
" I will not allow that. "
" Seven. " I say feeling like crying. I hide my emotions with a stone-cold face.
" What? " Fury asks very confusedly.
" I've missed Seven Daddy/Daughter dances in my life. "
" I-" I cut him off.
" Seven fathers days. I spent Seven fathers days alone, watching every kid in that darn tower, spend time with their dad. I missed six first days of school with my dad. I missed seven of my dad's birthdays. He missed six of mine. He missed seven Christmas's with me. I missed so much with my dad. While they, " I point up above me. " all had their dads. I had no one! Not a dad. I had Uncle Thor, yes, but he has his own son to take care of. I have no one else. They tried to include me in things, but that wasn't the same. " I laugh humorlessly. " And on top of that, someone bullied me. She wouldn't stop and for a time, I wished I didn't exist. I wished I had someone there for me. 'Cause it's not the same to have only an uncle. I know he loves me, but I need my dad. So, just think about that the nest time you see me or my dad. Think of all the pain I've been through. Just think. And you'll see why I do what I do. "

I stare at the man in front of me as he tries to understand what I said. Fury has this look of confusion on his face. I glance up at the window. My uncle looks at the other adults very concerned and worried. His brows are furrowed and he's talking to Clint.
" What do you mean, ' you'll see why I do what I do? ' " Fury asks a little suspicious.
I smirk and shrug. " I guess you'll have to wait and see. I guess we don't always get what we want. "
" Aura. " Fury says in a warning voice.
I hum a little and look at my feet on the metal table. " No more Mr. Nice guy, no siree. " I hum a Swan Princess song I heard while Marissa was watching the movie. " Baby, Mr. Nice guy's history. " I tap my foot on the metal table. The soft sound echos through the room as Fury tries to guess my actions.
" What happened to you? You used to be such a good girl. Only days ago you were quiet and not a problem. "
" What happened to me? " I smirk and raise an eyebrow. " Life. Bullies. Everything. I got sick of being quiet. I guess I'm not able to shut my mouth anymore. There gets to be a point were a person breaks, and I guess I reached my limit. "
" You don't have to behave this way. "
" Oh? But I do. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. " I look up at Mia. " I guess some people are exactly like their parents. I just so happen to be like my daddy. " I sigh. " Now. If you'd only let me see my dad, I can make things easier. This little conversation can disappear as if it never happened. "
" I can't let you see him. I've already told you. "
I sigh. " And here I thought you were the all-powerful boss. "
" Aura. Enough of this. We have something else to discuss. "
He's quiet for a moment. I make a hand gesture for him to continue. " Talk. "
" Well, your powers. They're.....different. "
" I kind of figured. It's not every day you see a girl burning and freezing two men to death. " I roll my eyes.
" We want to get you into training. " Fury says folding his hands together.
" I don't want to be trained by your people. "
" Well, you have no choice. Your powers are dangerous and can cause a lot of harm to not only yourself but others. What happens if you're in public and someone sees you freeze something on accident? They're going to tell everyone and you won't ever live a normal life. "
" Not if I kill them. "
Fury gives me a look. I put on my innocent face and shrug. " What? " I ask. " Isn't that what you do? Kill people who see too much? That's my understanding of what happens. "
" You'll be trained by your uncle and a few other people as well as the Avengers."
I sigh and fold my arms. I can't seem to get away from these people.
