" Yeah. I am okay. Are you? I heard you have been misbehaving and being very rude. Especially towards Fury and your grandfather. " Dad asks pulling away from me so he can look me in the eye.
I blush and look down, very embarrassed of my actions. " Yeah. " I mumble.
" That's my girl. " Dad pulls me into a hug again and chuckles. " You did exactly what I would've done. "
" Gramps practically told me I'm a loser. " I sigh.
" Well, " Dad takes a breath and looks at the ceiling in annoyance. " you're not a loser. You are a smart young lady. "
" Do you really think we're gonna get to stay together? " I ask with a little hope.
Dad sighs. " I hope so. I really hope so. But if things do not turn out as planned, we still have to be strong. We will get through this. "
I sigh and lean my head on his shoulder. I really want to stay with him.
The door opens and Uncle Thor walks in with an unreadable expression. " I have Fury's answer................"
