" Do you really think we're gonna get to stay together? " I ask with a little hope.

Dad sighs. " I hope so. I really hope so. But if things do not turn out as planned, we still have to be strong. We will get through this. "

I sigh and lean my head on his shoulder. I really want to stay with him.

The door opens and Uncle Thor walks in with an unreadable expression. " I have Fury's answer................"

My heart pounds. This is happening. It's really happening. I can't believe it. How....why? Who, what, when? All these questions are running through my head with millions more. I can't believe it. 

I look at the door where my dad, The Avengers, and Fury are talking. I nervously bounce my knee and the cup in my hands spills a little bit of the drink on me. I hiss at the heat of the hot chocolate but I don't pay much attention to it. 

I've been waiting out here for almost a million years. I need to hear the details. I'm in so much shock. I need to know what happens next. Where will he go? Where will he stay? 

The Avengers annoying kids are around here somewhere. Maybe I should go see them. Maybe that'll clear my mind for a little while. 

I stand up and set the cup down on the counter. I walk into a random room and someone grabs me. " Help me Aura! Marissa's trying to get me!! " Tommy yells as he hides behind my legs. 

Marissa giggles and runs around my feet, trying to catch Tommy. Tommy takes off in a different direction and almost runs into a wall. " Ahhh!! " 

I smile a bit at the two knuckleheads and shake my head. " They're so cute. " Chase mutters while laughing. 

" Yeah. They are. " I sit down next to him. He smiles at me. 

" What happened? Do you know what's going to happen to your dad? " 

" Not yet. Well, I don't know the specifics. Since Thanos was holding dad under mind-control, forcing dad to...kill all those people and...other things, Odin, " I say his name with a slight bitterness. " decided to ship dad here. He's going to be staying on earth, no one's told me where yet, but many of his previous charges are going to be dropped. The mind-controlling was ruled unfair by the court, and yeah... I'm hopefully gonna find out the rest of the details soon. " I glance at the door. 

" Don't worry. I bet everything's going to work out just fine. " Chase gives me an encouraging smile. 

" I hope it does. "
