" Daddy! " I run towards my father and hug him tightly. The guards by him unhook him from the chains around his arms and put some metal thing on his wrists. 

" Aura. " Dad sighs happily. He hugs me tightly and strokes my hair. " Aura. " I sniffle and my eyes water in happiness as I hug my father tightly. I get to be here with him. I get to stay with him. We won't get taken away. I get to have a father! He doesn't have to live in a prison with rats and mold. He gets to live here with me. 

" I've got so much to tell you and show you! " I take his hand. All the fear I had before is gone. It's all replaced with happiness. " Come on! " Chase smiles a bit at Loki. " Oh wait! " I blush a deep red at the memory of what happened just seconds before. " This is Chase. He's my...um, my friend. " Yeah. My friend. 

I smile a bit at him and avoid my dad's gaze. Before my dad can ask why I'm blushing, I rush him towards his room. We pass the Avengers and they all stop us to talk to him. Frankly, I'm a bit relieved. I'm still pretty red. 

Oh, man. Oh, man. Chase Stark literally just kissed me. My heart is doing flips. My stomach has a herd of butterflies. Oh gosh. He's so freaking cute! But wait. Dad doesn't want me to date. No, I can't go against him. He might get mad. I don't want him to be mad at me. 

But, at the same time, I liked that kiss. I think. I think I liked it a bit. Yeah, just a bit. No. 

Who am I fooling? I'm head over heels for Chase. He's so so cute. Gosh. Dad's going to be so disappointed in me. 

Chase is like my best friend. In the short time, I've really talked to him, he's stolen a spot in my heart as my best friend. He's awesome. Smart. Cool. C-" So. How have you been? " Dad asks as he smiles at me. 

Don't think about Chase. Not right now at least. 

" Good! I've been great. " I smile. 

Should I tell him about the kiss? Yes? No? No. He might get mad. I don't want him mad. 

" Let me show you around. " I smile at dad as I lead him around. I pass Chase who's laughing with Clayton about some random video and my heart pounds. Shoot.
