Chapter 15

- Jayden's POV-
      I'm going to get real deep real quick. Talking to Annie has been great. She's really been helping me figure out all these feelings that I've been having.

Not in a good way.

I think I..like her? What? No. Shut up. I didn't say anything. You're crazy. I said nothing.

At this point I at least know that I'm bi. I have to tell my friends about it at some point, and everyone else. Here goes nothing.

The Squad
Me- can I tell you guys something?

Jenna- ofc babe💕

Lauren- what's up?💗

Me- promise you won't judge me?

Sky- you could never do anything twisted  enough for me to judge you lol

Kenz- exactly

Me- I'm bisexual

Lauren- omg i'm sure it was hard for you to tell us. You're so strong. love you💕

Brisa- haha

Me- what's funny?? And thank you lolo

Jenna- we thought there was actually something going on

Sophia- yeah. Like, you're obviously not, you dated Armani

Sky- bisexual means you like boys too, dingus. I support you Jayden❤️

Me- thanks Sky

Brisa- well idk how i feel about that then

Kenz- excuse me

Jenna- honestly same

Lauren- what's your problem

Sophia- it kind of makes me uncomfortable

Jenna- yeah

Brisa- exactly like how do we know you won't like

Sophia- make a move on us or something

Me- NO. You guys are my best friends. I could never see any of you like that

Kenz- that's kind of disgusting. Just because she likes girls you think she likes you? Not to mention self centered. I love u no matter what Jay

Jenna- how are we supposed to know that for sure

Me- um

Lauren- wtf is that supposed to mean Jenna? She's the same person. She wouldn't lie to us.

Me- ..I'm sorry that my truth is making you uncomfortable?

Sky- no. You don't have to apologize for anything Jayden. You're not the one being rude.

Brisia- it kinda does make me feel weird though

      I thought these people were my friends.

Lauren- well then you can leave. We don't need fake people like you.

Brisa- damn okay

      I wish I could say that I don't want to cry right now. I don't even care that much about the fact that I'm pretty sure I'm losing half of my friend group, it's the fact that I just trusted them with something so important to me and they're just dropping me like a rock because of their own ignorance.

      I click on the groupchat details and see that the only members left in the chat other than myself are Kenzie, Lauren, and Sky.

Me- wow

Kenz- they really left

Sky- Jayden

Me- this is my fault guys I'm so sorry

Lauren- NO BABY you did nothing wrong. They're ignorant

Me- but I just made you guys lose some of your best friends

Kenz- screw them. They are rude and they don't understand that you're the same person and it doesn't matter who you love

Me- are you sure you guys aren't mad at me

Sky- I promise. We're the good people in this situation. THEY'RE in the wrong

Lauren- 100%

Kenz- are you okay Jay

Me- yeah, I guess.

Sky- that period isn't promising. Ft now

      After a couple seconds I get a facetime request from Lauren to talk to the group. I use my sleeve to wipe the few tears off my cheeks.

"Hey y'all" Sky speaks first.

"Hi" I say quietly.

"Have you been crying?" Kenzie asks.

"Yeah. No point in lying about stuff now." I sniffle.

"I'm gonna kick their asses for hurting my muffin." Sky shouts.

"I'd be happy to join you" Kenzie says.

"Count me in. You know this is serious when i'm willing to fight." Lauren laughs.

"Guys, don't fight them for me. You don't have to. Especially since I caused this."

"Pfft, we don't want em. Fake hoes." Lauren replies. She's the last person I expect to say something like that.

"Okay. Yeah, I guess you're right."

"I gotta pee, hold up." Kenzie walks away from the screen and we laugh.

I guess I know who my real friends are, and I don't think I would have it any other way.
