It's been a week and I don't hear anything from August. Yes we do see each other but we don't talk.
Like the day before yesterday, nakasalubong ko siya. He is with his team mates, ikwekwento ko dapat sa kaniya na kambal pala si Dayana & Oliver pero ang loko nilagpasan lang ako.
And then yesterday I ask him if I can sit with him at the canteen but instead f answering umalis siya.
Now he is with unfamiliar girl, and I don't think na ayun yung babaeng gusto ni August. Okay, don't get me wrong but the way she looks hindi siya yung babaeng kaseryoseryoso.
Kung si Dayana nga sana yung gusto niya okay lang. I'll accept it, atleast Dayana has the qualities of a classy woman. Unlike the girl he is flirting with now, sobrang bitchy ng dating.
Bitter? No I'm not. Sanay na ako kay August, what's bothering me is who is the girl?
"Hey you look so sad ate."
"Seriously ate?"
"My kuya likes you, so I guess I should call you ate."
"We have the same age, so scratch the ate. Just call me Kirs." I smile at her
Dayana is undeniably beautiful. She has an irresistible charm, if I'm a guy I'll definitely like her.
Minsan tuloy naiisip ko na walang taste to si August. First, he never liked me & now Dayana.
We're in the school field right now. Oliver prepare our lunch, it's like a mini picnic.
He went to the canteen to buy some drinks. He sat between us and started to eat.
"It's good to see na nagkakasundo kayo."
"Dayana is nice also, nasa lahi niyo na ata yun." I laugh at my own joke then we started eating
Actually, Oliver prepared a lunch for four. I texted August to eat with us but he didn't show up.
We are almost done eating when I send a message to August once again.
To: Pare
Hey pare, are you busy? I miss you so much. Oliver prepared lunch for us. Dalhin ko sa gym u like?
5 minutes had passed pero di pa rin siya nagrereply kaya tinago ko na yung phone ko sa bag.
Based on August's code when you texted someone and 5 minutes had passed don't expect for any replies. Dalawa lang daw ang ibig sabihin nun, It's either busy or he's not interested but most of the time the reason is the second one. Kasi daw no matter how busy the person is gagawa yan ng paraan mareplyan ka lang kung interesado talaga yan sayo or doon sa topic niyo.
Tapos na kaming kumain, wala ni anino ni August ang dumating.
"Bakit hindi pumunta si August?" asked Dayana
"Ewan baka busy."
"Let's bring him food then? Madami pa naman to e."
"Dayana, you're too obvious." -Oliver
"Obvious?"
"Obvious na may gusto ka sa kaniya. Just let Kirs bring food for him."
Dayana just pouted and crossed her arms. These twins are the cutest, if you didn't know that they are twins you'll think that they are couple.
I just waved my hand as a sign of 'goodbye' at dumiretso na ako sa gym.
I wasn't surprise to see August flirting with a cheerleader.
"Hey." I called
Nag smirk lang siya sa akin at bumalik sa pakikipag landian sa babae. The nerve!
Lumapit ako at hinila yung braso niya paalis sa pagkakaakbay sa babae.
"Hoy August! Kung sino man yung gusto mong babae, ligawan mo na! Hindi yung kung sinu-sino pa yung nilalandi mo. At ikaw naman babae, nagpapaloko ka naman dito?"
Lumakad palayo si August at sumunod lang ako sa kaniya, sigaw lang ng sigaw yung babae pero hindi na rin pinansin ni August.
"August!" That made him stop from walking and he faced me
"Why?" May nakakalokong ngiti sa mukha niya, hindi ko alam kung dapat ba akong magalit sa kaniya o ano
Then he burst into laughter. Hinampas ko lang yung braso niya to stop him from laughing.
"Akala ko ba magtitino ka na?"
"You're acting like a jealous girlfriend Kirs. I like it."
And that makes me blush, I look away and look back to him and I can see the smirk visible on his face.
"And now you're blushing."
"Okay, wag mong gamitin ang pagka playboy mo sa akin okay? Now, let me know who is she."
Hinila ko yung braso niya, pero hindi naman siya nagpapadala sa akin. Tinignan ko siya ng masama at tsaka siya binitawan.
"Ipapakilala mo ko sa kaniya o gusto mong humalik ka sa kamao ko?" I show him my fist
Instead of answering kinuha niya lang yung kamay ko at hinalikan ang likod nito. Oh please! Kill me now, I swear hindi ko na kayang itago yung kilig ko.
"Why are you so curious? Sorry but I won't let you meet her."

Everytime he sees me he is always saying "no"
Gaano ba ka special yung babaeng yun at ayaw niya ako ipakilala?
"No Kirs."
"Wala pa akong tinatanong, wag kang OA Agosto ha!"
"Konting effort pa Kirs, ibibigay ko na sayo ang matamis kong oo" then he winked
Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin at pumasok na sa klase ko. Everything went well, aside from my curiosity.
As usual, sabay na ulit kami ni August umuuwi. I saw him talking with Dayana, "so siya ba?" Can't help but ask myself.
Ng mapansin na ako ni Dayana ay nagpaalam na rin siya.
"So si Dayana nga?"
"Curious much?"
"Not really, I just wonder what kind of woman do you like."
"I also wonder what kind of guy do you like Kirs, tagal na natin mag bestfriend pero hindi ka nagboboyfriend. O sadyang walang magkagusto sayo? Hahahaha"
"Don't change the topic please."
Hinatid niya na ako sa bahay at wala pang limang minuto na nakakaalis siya sa bahay tinext niya ako.
