This is it pancit! I'm going to meet her, every minute I'm checking the wall clock. I'm fvcking excited!
Nag-ayos akong mabuti for this dinner, well restaurant naman daw kami kakain so I guess it's okay if I'm going to wear dress.
"Yes!" Napasigaw ako when finally it is 7 in the evening.
Narinig ko na nag ring ang doorbell. Am I sure that I really want to meet her?
The truth is going to be told. I'm going to meet her and whatever happens tonight I'll just accept it and be happy for him.
Nagpalate ako ng baba ng konti para kahit papano naman hindi masyadong obvious na excited ako.
When I saw him sitting on the couch I was a little bit dissapointed.
"Bakit ayan lang ang suot mo?"
Naka plain white vneck shirt lang siya, shorts and flipflops.
"What's wrong with I am wearing?"
Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay "seriously, you're asking me that? Hello, you're going to see the girl you like."
"Sus. Sanay na sa akin yun. Tara?" Lumapit siya sa akin at umakbay
Literal naman na napabagsak ang balikat ko sa narinig mula sa kaniya. 'Sanay' so ibig sabihin ba noon ay matagal na silang magkakilala?
Anyhow, I shouldn't be overthinking. After all I am going to meet her after few minutes.
Nakarating na kami sa restaurant, there's a reserve seat for two.
"Bakit for two lang? So kapag nandiyan na siya aalis na ko dito?"
"Bakit gusto mo bang mag chaperon?"
Kumain na kami and my curiousity is killing me. Where is she? Pa important much eh?
"Where is she? We're waiting for her for almost 1 hour."
"Actually she's already here."
"Where?" Nagpalinga-linga ako kung saan-saan parte ng restaurant, wala naman.
Kumunot yung noo ko "niloloko mo ba ko?"
A smirk formed in his face "do you really want to meet her?"
"Ofcourse!"
"Look to your left slowly."
I do what he told me and I see nothing but a mirror. "Do you see her now?" He asked
Is he out of his mind o trip niya lang ako? "Trip mo ba ko ngayon? Hindi na nakakatuwa August ha."
"I'm telling the truth Kirs. I like you, nagseselos ako whenever you're with Oliver. I hate it when you talk about him. I think....I'm falling in love with you."
There's a moment of silence. This is what I've been longing for to hear, pero bakit ngayon narinig ko na bakit parang natatakot ako?
I stood up "you had enough for today August. If you don't want me to meet her then it's okay. Pero sana naman wag mo akong pagtripan."
"I'm fvcking serious Kirs. Sa palagay mo ba lolokohin kita ng ganito?"
Lumakad na ako palayo at sumunod lang siya sa akin. Pilit kong pinipigilan ang luha ko. I'm asking myself "bakit ako?"
"Why would I joke with this matter Kirs? Do you think isusugal ko ang pagkakaibigan natin sa isang biro? No!"
"Stop it! Let's just go home"
